@NikTek People who genuinely care about the game doesn’t give a fuck realistically. Nobody wants to go through a Cyberpunk situation again. If Rockstar doesn’t want to release the game until they’re fully confident then that shouldn’t be an issue to anyone.

I can't imagine the amount of pressure Rockstar Games must have gone through when they've delayed GTA VI multiple times, even internally as Strauss Zelnick confirmed in his latest interview. "I think we're about 18 months behind the original date." That would put Grand Theft Auto VI original release date sometime in May 2025, after that it was internally delayed to Fall 2025, then May 26, 2026 and the current release date which is November 19th 2026. I think that they've probably underestimated the release timing when making such a massive video game that will be played for years to come, you cannot exactly predict the development time of such complex mechanics, especially for a game like this one. Avoiding crunch culture and the pressure of everyone asking "where is GTA VI" probably pushed Rockstar to announce it way earlier too, making this one of their longest delayed games they've ever worked on. Thankfully, it looks like November 19th is locked in and we may finally get to see pre-orders and a Trailer 3 soon.
