What is the weirdest stock you own? Thin liquidity, niche business, business model pivots, etc. etc.

@Laz_Cap @PrjOwnTime Yeah, I'm not good at understanding timing in commods, its hard enough in equities🙃 Another problem is good weather for current crops kills longs unless traders lure mom guys to go long before real physical deficit😞

@Edark94 @Johnie36149708 It would be helpful with examples of several huge beautiful vanadium-flow battery parks to hammer home this thesis?

Went to hardware store. Bought some tools (more tools required to protect the house from the 2nd rabbit) Saw vanadium printed on them. This is financial advice.

@Laz_Cap @PrjOwnTime What is the seasonality here? Can't one make a case that farmers have already ordered/price-secured urea and spring farmers in northern hemisphere is ok? More difficulty later?

Even in a global nuclear war, Antonio would be in a dimly lit bunker, still grilling mining CEOs with the most annoying questions over a crackling radio. Never change, sir 🫡
Antonio (Resource Talks)@ResourceTalks

One of the most useful questions in mining is also one of the most annoying: “If it’s that good, how come nobody’s doing it already?” I recently heard the story of a company that's looking to clean up old mines, reprocess waste piles, and make money doing it for decades, and it can be genuinely interesting. It can also be a trap for your brain, because who doesn't want to get paid to do the right thing. But that’s exactly when you ask the question. Not to be a jerk. To find the friction. If nobody’s doing it, there’s usually a reason. Metallurgy doesn’t cooperate, grades are lower than advertised, recoveries are ugly, contaminants create permitting headaches, logistics are nasty, the material is more variable than expected, liability is unclear, bonding is expensive, economics, etc, etc. The point of the question isn’t to conclude that it can or can’t work. It’s to force the real constraints into the open. Who owns the legacy liability? Who carries the closure obligations? What happens if you disturb material and the regulator decides you’ve inherited the mess? What’s the capex and sustaining capex, and how sensitive is the model to commodity price, reagent cost, and throughput? How consistent is the feed, and how do they prove it without cherry-picking? If the answer is “people tried, here’s why it failed, and here’s what’s different now,” you might be looking at a potential edge. Point is, when you hear a “win-win” pitch; ask. I did, in my recent interview with @SasqResources $SASQ.CN. The CEOs answer is in the clip below. Full interview on YT and wherever you get your podcasts.

Considering we’re moving all gas no brakes into a global energy crisis unless something changes All the AI images/videos and frankly almost all of the consumer facing AI stuff developed past 2-3 years seems like a really stupid waste of scarce energy molecules

@dmuscat How tight drilling is needed to get a resource for this? It doesn't look like easy flat-lying layers on the cross sections, but rather a bit up and down or pinching/swelling. Seems like some work is needed for confidence in thickness and orientation.

Is $SPCB the ultimate "incumbent displacer" in the $2.3B electronic monitoring market? 📈 SuperCom is rapidly expanding, securing 35+ U.S. contracts since mid-2024 and winning major national deals in Europe. With 35%+ EBITDA margins and a tech edge in battery life, the growth story is getting loud. Full deep dive here: investresearch.substack.com/p/supercom-spc…

Shelly is a very good company. But you need to understand how this stock has been working forever. At 70€ the implied return for this year was already around 0%. That's why it's down. People started to post dream topline numbers for them in 2026, and a realistic guide came.
Pнαηтαѕ@PhantasTrader

Shelly Group ($SLYG) has released its FY 2025 results and concluded the earnings call. While the long-term outlook remains bright, the stock is currently down 20% from its January ATH. Here are a few thoughts on the report and the underlying dynamics.
