@Scouts_Out2 @RhubarbBrown Dang it, you’re right-she went to San Fran. There’s just so many out there-what a cool problem for our country to have! 🤣 🇺🇸

@Scouts_Out2 @RhubarbBrown Isn’t that Elsa-the one who discovered ranch dressing? 🙂
English

@RhubarbBrown Where is the Flora-Bama girl? I ain’t seen that one.

@thejimrob @jennifermcgraw_ Welcome! Agree, the Holiday Inn Express cinnamon rolls are surprisingly tasty for coming from a chain hotel 😎👍. Enjoy your time here!

@FreddyLA7 This is amazing, but you realize 1/2 of X is waiting for you to walk your little Wal-Mart shoes into a Buc-ees just to see your reaction😎👍. Keep it coming!

@LaurenTorgerso3 @JonnyRoot_ They broadcasted it out-even setting up a camera to film getting test results(!). They *wanted* a reaction-and they got one. Question is, were they expecting that reaction to be sympathy or vitriol just for clicks?
English

@JonnyRoot_ They didn’t just see it, they invited it. Why did they make such a personal situation so public?

“We’ve seen the darkest side of humanity through this process”
- Jesse Ridgway on TMZ
The lack of sell awareness is astonishing. The “darkest side of humanity” is justifying the murder of your child because it would likely have Down syndrome, while monetizing off of it…
You talk about fearing for your lives, when the most terrifying thing is being a child in a womb in America. Your wife nonchalantly said killing an unborn child is just a “common thing that happens”. That’s darker than empty death threats.
(PS: No, I still don’t believe they should be receiving death threats)

@MikeBinSC @TristinHopper I just heard this the other day comparing east coast/west coast people, totally true (in general, of course!)

@AlexVivyNnabue @heavensbvnny YES-this is an old man I sit for, who’s always cranky and sick of your shit 😂 (who I would also walk into traffic for)

🇺🇸 Take a minute to reflect on the hallowed grounds of the Normandy American Cemetery in France on this Memorial Day. Perched on a bluff overlooking Omaha Beach — the very site where our heroes launched the greatest assault for liberty in human history — lie the final resting places of 9,389 American warriors who gave their last full measure of devotion during D-Day in World War II.
These are not just graves. They are monuments to American courage, sacrifice, and the fierce belief that freedom is worth dying for. Among them:
• 307 Unknown Soldiers — forever honored, never forgotten.
• 1,557 names inscribed on the Walls of the Missing — their spirits still watching over the cause they served.
• 45 pairs of brothers who fought and fell together.
• Three Medal of Honor recipients and four heroic American women buried side by side with their brothers-in-arms.
This sacred cemetery was established on June 8, 1944, just days after the invasion. This was the first American WWII cemetery on European soil. A permanent reminder that when evil threatened the world, America answered the call.
To every American who stormed those beaches, climbed those cliffs, and never came home: Your blood bought our tomorrow. Because of you, the light of liberty still shines bright across the globe.
We will never forget. We will never falter.
God Bless our Fallen Heroes. God Bless the United States of America. ❤️🤍💙

@elucinate @unheardparent Rainier, St.Helens, Hood and Adam (the 4 cluster volcanoes we have here) are all currently active to varying degrees. The guess is Rainier’s next.

We're visiting Mt Saint Helens today. And I can help but think how the Washington and Oregon governments would epically fail the citizens with a chaotic emergency response it happened today.

Am I right?

@Blum2Zziggy @Sassafrass_84 There is no shot for malaria, which is why we prescribe malaria pills.
English

@Sassafrass_84 Malaria shots do make people sick. Mosquito repellent ? Not for me, ineffective when sweating, lasts for short periods. Wear long pants and socks. I don’t think you need anything if you don’t go to the jungle though.
English

Wait a darn minute. My sister in law just told me to make sure I take all my mosquito shots before I go to Costa Rica in a few weeks.
Um...say what? I am vaccine hesitant after covid vaccines and the mrna bs.
Please tell me she was joking because I am definitely not taking anything. I will however take mosquito spray. As in OFF.
ADVICE?!

@nocontextmemes Why not take an extra sixteen minutes and drive to Anchorage

@granitecrystals @Mar__G_3 On Monday at LAX we were landing as 2 connecting flights were boarding (PDX and Seattle), I was on one. Announcement made and almost everyone stayed seated! I yelled a big THANK YOU as we rushed off the ✈️!! It was awesome!!
English

@Mar__G_3 I’m happy to report that on our Southwest flight on Monday, the nine people with connections were allowed to get off quickly. Also when I smilingly told two guys that they were in our seats, they smiled back and immediately apologized and moved to their correct row.
English

Common courtesy and respect to strangers has all but vanished.
I was on a plane recently when the Captain landed and announced: "Stay seated for folks with tight connections." The majority of the cabin stood up anyway.
A couple by me in the back told us they only had 10-15 min to make their flight, but were trapped in by the wall of passengers in the aisle.
I stood up and called out for people to sit down. Most ignored me, some made eye contact and claimed they had a connection.
I later watched one of them stroll out of the airport into an Uber. Courtesy and being a decent human is dead. Everyone is out for themselves. It's depressing.

Devastated mum Wendy Duffy, 56, is travelling to a Swiss suicide clinic this week because she says she is too heartbroken to live without her only son.
Marcus, 23, died four years ago after choking on a cherry tomato while asleep on the sofa at their home in the West Midlands.
Wendy, a former care worker, tried to take her own life once before but survived. She told doctors the grief has become unbearable agony and no amount of therapy or medication can fix it.
She has been approved for assisted dying at the Pegasos clinic in Basel and has already paid the £10,000 fee using her life savings.
Her family say they fully support her heartbreaking decision even though they are devastated to lose her.
Wendy is due to end her life on Friday 24 April. She has asked for her ashes to be scattered at the park bench where she used to sit and talk to Marcus every single night.

@PNW_working_mom My friend in grad school was a surrogate and ended up with triplets. The couple asked her to have 2 of them killed as they only wanted one child. 😳 I can’t even imagine. (she did end up giving birth to all 3, btw).
