@oldenoughtosay My sister was 41w and had a scan that measured babe at 10lb12oz and when we were in the waiting room there was a mama cuddling her baby. I asked how much baby weighs and she said 9lbs3oz. I looked at my sister and reminded her that her fetus was bigger. She smacked me.

@clhubes My bestie was over this weekend. I got 2 entire showers all by myself without my 3.5 year old opening the showercurtains and yelling at me when water gets on him. I took as long as I wanted to without worry about my home being destroyed. It was magic.

A 2 year old boy had a persistent cough for 2 days which started with a brief choking incident while he was playing at home. The child appeared well after wards. He had mild rhinorrhea and hoarseness since the incident but is otherwise asymptomatic. He is not drooling and continued to feed well. On examination he is afebrile, has mild stridor and reduced air entry on right side. He receives racemic epinephrine but his stridor does not improve. X-ray Neck and chest are normal. The next management step is: a. Administer IM dexamethasone b. Arrange for Laryngoscopy c. Arrange for Bronchoscopy d. Discharge on Antihistamine e. Endotracheal Intubation

After almost 17 years in #ableg, today I watched as this legislature sunk to its lowest point ever. The UCP voted to breach the Charter and fundamental human rights of transgender young people and their families, to have equal access to healthcare. Alberta is the only province to act with this much callous cruelty. Trans Rights are human rights and the UCP cares nothing for either.
