(8/9) 💰 Extra cost 🕒 Waste of time 🚗 Travel from Mumbai to Pune All without any fault of the citizen. Why should my friend suffer?

(7/9) Unofficially I understood – RC is most likely lost. They may issue an apology letter, and then — we’ll need to apply for a duplicate RC. New cycle. Same hassles. Extra costs.

(6/9) Back to post office. After getting the usual “go here–go there” treatment, I reached BDG office. They said: “File written and online complaint. Come after 4–5 days.”

(5/9) He decided to come by mid-June. RC was supposed to stay at NSH for 30 days. But when he checked tracking before coming — 🚨 Item Not Found 🚨

(4/9) Since my friend is in Mumbai, I went to Pune NSH to check if I can collect his RC. But as per rules, only the vehicle owner can collect it. Fair enough.

(3/9) But... the door was locked and no one picked the phone. India Post marked the delivery as failed and returned it to Pune NSH on 9th May.

(2/9) There’s no system to send the updated RC to the owner’s new address. So he asked the current house owner to receive it on his behalf.
