Michael O'Fallon - Sovereign Nations
What would be helpful is if everyone would believe me 10 years before the unthinkable thing happens instead of calling me a crazy conspiracy theorist. This is the reason that the West has been pulled through ideological battlefields over the past 20 years: setting us against one another so we would not have the sense enough to stand up against the TESCREAL cult that has integrated itself within our governmental and corporate communities. It is the idol of idol building, the Hermetic/Gnostic vision made "real", and the end of humanity if we don't step up against this insane Sci-Fi cult immediately. So, instead of giving Sam Altman the podium to announce his plans, consider committing Mr. Altman, Andreessen, Thiel and the others pushing the TechBro cultish dreams to a lunatic asylum.

@michaeljknowles But the best part is that the mullahs have a long hisory of complying with agreements to the letter. So this will be a whole new paradigm.

One of the chief arguments against a peace deal with Iran is that we already had one under Obama. Speaking with a senior admin official, I’m hearing any viable deal would have to be much tougher: no pallets of cash, of course, but also no more stockpiles of enriched material, and no permission for further enrichment. Alongside the near-total obliteration of ballistic missile production, such a deal at this stage—if a deal is reached—would put U.S. strategic interests in a much stronger position than before.

@SpencerGuard True, but the likelihood that when the details is published we say, "Wow, I stand corrected, this is a really good deal!" is vanishingly small...

A new book explores what warfare might look like 60 years into the future, in a world devastated by climate change. Co-authors Ret. Navy Admiral James Stavridis and Elliot Ackerman, a CBS News contributor, join CBS News’ Major Garrett on “The Takeout” to discuss their book, “2084: A Novel of Future War” and the state of the war in Ukraine.

@WarClandestine Yeah thats not gonna happen. Xi is a wildly incompetent dictator. He is 100% on the side of Iran, will do whatever he can to help them. I'm pretty confident that Trump and Rubio know this but not 100%. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory is a very common occurence.

Rubio just gave us a glimpse of what is to come. He talks about how important the Strait of Hormuz is to China/Asia, and how it’s in China’s best interest to play a “more active role” in getting Iran to walk away. What if China helps convince Iran to surrender? What if China comes to help secure the strait, while our supposed allies in NATO sit on the sidelines and do nothing? This trip has lots of potential with massive global implications.
Fox News@FoxNews

EXCLUSIVE: Secretary of State Marco Rubio outlines the high-stakes push for China to confront Iran over its actions in the Persian Gulf in an exclusive sit-down with @seanhannity aboard Air Force One: “The Chinese have ships stuck in the Persian Gulf... A Chinese cargo got hit over the weekend. I'm sure Iran didn't do it deliberately but they did it, it happened. And so that's why these Chinese ships are stuck in there.” “It's a huge source of instability. It threatens to destabilize Asia more than any other part of the world because it's heavily reliant on the straits for energy.” “It’s in [China’s] interest to resolve this. We hope to convince them to play a more active role in getting Iran to walk away from what they're doing now and trying to do now in the Persian Gulf."

@K_AminThaabet They'll give him a raise. Look at the NYT history for the past 100 years. They have knowingly promoted false narratives over and over. The Kristof story is not an outlier.

1. This piece relies entirely on stories provided by people who hate Israel. 2. It includes a comment from a former Israeli prime minister that appears to buttress those claims but is too general, too uninformed, to do so. (It’s hard not to imagine that that has to do with domestic politics.) 3. The piece is ostensibly balanced. (It notes, in the beginning and end, that Hamas committed sexual violence against Israelis on October 7.) But that’s a deceptive, or false, symmetry: The violence of October 7 doesn’t require any elaborate and unverifiable anecdotes. It’s mostly on video; Hamas has bragged about its crimes. This false symmetry appears to strengthen Kristof’s argument — it underscores his role as impartial observer — but it’s false. It masks an anti-Israel bias that has been on full display for years. 4. I don’t have trouble believing that some Israeli forces have curbed or even violated the rights of some Palestinians — that is one of the inevitable and lamentable side effects of any prolonged military operation — but this article doesn’t make that case. This article is a well laundered bit of Hamas propaganda that Kristof and the Times will ultimately regret.
Nicholas Kristof@NickKristof

This is a hard article to read, but I hope you'll do so. I've spent some time reporting on widespread rape and other sexual violence of Palestinian male and female prisoners by Israeli authorities, and the article is now published. The assault victims were warned not to give speak of what they endured -- they were sometimes told they would be killed or raped if they gave interviews -- but they found the courage to do so. One man described being raped three times in a single day in Israeli prison, the third time after he tried to protest. A young woman said the guards would come in at the beginning of each shift and strip her naked and abuse her. Another reported that she was shown photos of herself being raped and warned they would be released unless she cooperated with Israeli intelligence. Even three children who had been detained told me they had been sexually abused. Look, whatever our position on the Middle East, we should be able to agree on being anti-rape. Sexual assaults were horrific when Israeli women were targeted on Oct. 7, and they're equally horrific when Israeli authorities use them against Palestinians day after day after day. We should be able to find common ground in opposing rape. Here's a gift link to the article: nytimes.com/2026/05/11/opi…

@ProfMJCleveland IF he ends the mullah's reign of terror, which he has not yet even come close to doing. If he stops now, he gets the worst of both worlds. I hope he finishes the job, but I have to say, it's not looking good.

In ending the Mullah's reign of terror in Iran, Trump is putting the good of the country and the world above midterms. While I worry that Democrats regaining control of Congress will halt the many other important policy advances, destroying Islamic Republic is necessary.

There’s no other way. No AI, or blue ribbon commission, or Oracle of Delphi could construct “fair” districts. But, there was, until recently, a facade, or patina of good faith. That’s gone, and it’s not awesome. You can’t have politics without politics.

I hate all gerrymandering and it should be illegal. Full stop - it's awful when democrats do it, it's awful when republicans do it. American citizens have their voices and representation robbed of them.
