America is America. India is Bharat Maa. We call our country Maa, then why does our country look so dirty? I randomly picked two spots in India and two in America on Google Maps.

@Thfclunatic @TonyGunk898715 @MattooShashank I dont know if you live under a rock or something, but on the ground the only threat to Hindu/Indian americans is groypers/neo-nazis and white nationalists. Islamic fundementalists have basically 0 power in America, and Zohran himself is a shia, with his dad being an Ismaili lol

@TonyGunk898715 @MattooShashank yea hes an opportunist who chose the wrong team. Tried to portray a pluralistic, open-minded faith as if it could relate to white christian-nationalists and their closed-minded imperial mindset

The chance of getting from here to here is about 1%. The chance of finishing it from there is 12%. Multiply them together - you get a total chance of just 0.12%. One in 800. Ridiculous.

A lot of Indian Americans are against H-1B visas. If you’re Indian American and you feel forced to support visas because of racist comments, just know that these corporations don’t see you as Indian but as another expendable American. When you lose your job to a foreigner, remember that it was the people that you called racist that we’re trying to protect your job

@Nalin_Haley no, racists are just being racists. They are not protecting our jobs. They go by skin color, not by immigration status.

The U.S. is a a constitutional republic built precisely so that no one has to erase their civilizational inheritance to belong. If your ‘progress’ in America requires the active marginalization of your own roots, then it’s not progress, it’s programmed self-hate dressed up as cosmopolitanism. Real integration doesn’t demand erasure. It demands confidence without apology. And confidence means being able to say: I can be Hindu, Indian-origin, and American without needing your permission. Stop the pander !
Vishal Ganesan@vjgtweets

I'm sorry but the first gen is so laughably out of touch. I genuinely believe that our progress in America is contingent on the active marginalization of this FOB mentality. America is not a collection of "communities" like India. It is an society of individuals with a national civic culture grounded in Protestantism. This fetishization of "holding on to one's traditions" is nothing but an admission of failure by first gen Hindus to adapt their religion to the prevailing value system.
