overwatch 1 died so we could get a terrible monetization system, a failed pivot towards pve, less teamplay, unbalanced 5v5 gameplay and a dozen broken promises. this isnt OW, its a frankenstein you have no choice but to endure bc they shut down the original servers. awesome.

the world if blizzard swallowed their pride and didnt decide to make an unnecessary sequel with a shitty battlepass, 5v5 gameplay that the game wasnt designed around, and simply updated the original game more than once every 6 months

Hey @aaronkellerOW this open ended question is for you all You guys talk about what makes Overwatch magical, being the teamwork and strategy I think we all agree, but wouldn’t giving everyone the role passive take away from that? Supports are OP, but this takes away their identity and role in the game. It’s not a great long term solution

@bobbystockings multiple changes recently have promoted more solo play and almost call of duty style gameplay rather than the team based game overwatch was originally

@jchensor Yes this happens all the time and I have admittedly been a part of it when I was younger. Sure there are a ton of examples of the opposite, but it's silly to me to discard other people's experiences that may not be similar to ours

Has this happened? Of course. You can’t escape awful people in any community. But to use examples to paint the entire scene is disingenuous, especially when there are soooooo many more examples of the opposite, of the FGC being kind and wonderful.
