Alabama Republicans control both U.S. Senate seats, all constitutional offices, every state judgeship, and have legislative supermajorities, so it makes perfect sense for us to hold every congressional seat, too. We are bright red state, and our congressional map should show it.

So we all agree the Callais ruling is bad. But we don’t agree on how bad. But we all agree it’s not the worst possible outcome Time will tell Btw I’ll block anyone celebrating the ruling. So if you want to follow me keep that in mind.


The 2nd opinion is in Louisiana v. Callais, on race-based discrimination and the Voting Rights Act. A 6-3 court held that Louisiana's map creating a 2nd majority-black district was "an unconstitutional racial gerrymander." Court didn't strike Section 2. supremecourt.gov/opinions/25pdf…
