Of the 92 hereditary peers sitting in the House of Lords, all are male, and half went to a single school. You'll never guess which one.

Me when people who’ve spent years boasting about not paying any UK taxes say they want the British embassy to help evacuate them from Dubai.

Bucket: £10 Waders: £30 Measuring jug: 90p Ammonia tester: £100 Actually going out to check a sewage outfall that illegally discharges 750,000,000 million litres of sewage every year? Priceless. There are some things a government regulator with a budget of £189,000,000 & 12,000 staff can’t do. For everything else, there’s volunteer river guardians.

Can someone explain to me how an MP and a member of the shadow cabinet can moonlight as the attorney for a Russian oligarch who is trying to wiggle out of a £2.5 billion deal to aid victims of the war in Ukraine that he made with the UK government? Back in the day that was called a “conflict of interest”

The Tory Shadow Attorney General is also now Abramovich’s legal counsel - apparently working to protect his assets from efforts to recover them for Ukraine. Barristers should not be judged by the character of their clients. But his political position is clearly untenable.

Everyday my husband asks questions about my job/work to show me he's is interested in what I do. I'm a barista. How many questions can a person have about coffee?

Interesting timing of this documentary. As the Monarchy namely the King is the only one who can stop Starmer dragging this country into this dystopian/globalists/NWO by dissolving Parliament, would love to know who directed/funded/had the idea for this. Think C4 is more compromised than BBC.

'For too long people's opportunities in life have been determined by their background and not by their talents and hard work'. So says Keir Starmer, as he outlined Labour's plans in a speech read out by the great-grandson of King George V

The Post Office's compensation scheme is designed to minimise payouts. One postmaster received £15.75. That isn't a typo. I count nine ways the Post Office's HSS compensation scheme is rigged:

As the issue of compensation for miscarriages of justice is rightly in the news, it’s timely to note that in 2014, the government changed the law to make it all but impossible for people wrongly convicted and imprisoned to claim compensation.

British national anthem is elitist rubbish It venerates one man as a quasi god - the King. There's no celebration of the British people & their achievements No affirmation of democracy & human rights We can do better. Let's have a new national anthem theguardian.com/commentisfree/…
