Your timeline is wrong. Russia invaded Crimea in 2014. It’s only the invasion of Eastern Ukraine that began in 2022. And frankly, had Britain and other NATO allies not stepped up their support in training Ukraine forces off the back of Putins first incursion, Ukraine would have been unlikely to have put up as strong a defence as the have. It was clear that Putin was never going to stop at Crimea.

Turn on Western mainstream media and you’re handed the same sanitized script: the Ukraine war was "unprovoked" Clean. Simple. Convenient. Then footage from 2017 surfaces,British military instructors already on the ground, training Ukrainian forces for a coming showdown with Russia. And then the spell breaks. This wasn’t journalism; it was narrative warfare. Not information, but indoctrination. A carefully engineered story designed to erase context and manufacture consent. Propaganda polished until it passes for truth.

You've ignored the fact that the war would never have started had NATO not rejected out of hand Russia's draft treaty to make Ukraine a neutral country and stop NATO expansion. Why does NATO even still exist? It should"ve been dismantled when the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991. Your post ignores the 2014 coup in Ukraine, that was led by literal Nazis, which ousted the democratically elected president. The coup administration then started a civil war against East Ukraine and banned the Russian language in a country where Russian is the first language of one in citizens. You've also ignored the fact that immediately prior to Russia's military intervention, Zelenskyy's forces were massing on the border of the Donbas region to mount a huge onslaught.
