I’ve had my @eBay_UK account since 2012, 100% positive feedback. Always an honest buyer and seller for all sorts of things over the years. Put a PC component up for sale the other day and a guy offers me my minimum within 3hrs, I agree to sell it and post it the same day as he seemed desperate. I was crystal clear in my description that it was missing one of the original USB-C to USB-A cables as I lost it when I moved house and that a normal cable does the exact same job. Guy messages me demanding I either partially refund him for the ‘Missing’ cable or ‘I can have it back’ once delivered. I suggest he takes it up with eBay as he clearly didn’t read the advert. As you can see below he’s playing the buyer protection system and trying to extort money from me basically. He then puts in a return request for a reason that is completely null and void. I ring eBay and they suggest I accept the return request despite me not being in the wrong, I tell them I will not pander to people like that who are playing the system and would sooner not use their platform anymore. Now my account is under review and all payouts have been put on hold for at least 5 working days 😡 So fuck you @eBay_UK and your ridiculous system that always sides with the buyer regardless of what they say or how blatantly they abuse the system.

Via the eBay app help section, it made me talk to AI and I demanded a call back from a real person. It said they’d call me within 2 minutes of which they did so technically I didn’t find their number but this was what I was called from. 0345 355 3229 Hope this helps in some way.

@Jibsman1 @eBay_UK When I rang them yesterday, they basically said they will not get involved until the very last minute and selling things online can be dangerous 🙃 Well isn’t their platform supposed to make it easier and safer?

@helsbjambo @AutoInfatuation @eBay_UK I opened a @vinted @vintedUK account the other day, listed two items of clothing for sale and my account was instantly blocked for fraudulent activity!!! Have appealed it and have to wait 5 days for a response, apparently!!!!!

@AutoInfatuation @eBay_UK Funny how when you sell on @eBay_UK you seem to get screwed by dodgy 'buyers' constantly, yet when I buy something that doesn't work, buyer protection doesn't seem to apply to me and it's impossible to contact eBay and actually get a refund for something!!!!!!

Definitely going to be selling my super rare Audi 80 1.8 SE Auto. Super clean. 54k miles, and it shows. Ultra rare ‘Papyrus’ metallic, and a possible concours level car with very little work, if that’s your bag. @mrpotholeuk @WSHighways @WSCCNews Exactly what I wrote when I raised the case with them, but guess I'll have to try and make more of a nuisance of myself!!! 🙄 Honestly could do the exact same for 90% of the roads around Haywards Heath!!!

@angry_corner @WSHighways @WSCCNews I would suggest making a Formal Complaint to WSCC CEO. Stating the carriageway is clearly "Out of Repair" in legal terms. That if they don't carry out resurfacing works on the road. Then Section 56 Notice under the Highways Act 1980 will be issued.

@mrpotholeuk @WSHighways just submitted some more, repeat, pothole reports - this junction has been ignored since the start of the year and is very dangerous - just the odd 'splat' in a hole to try and avoid liability I guess?!

@thealexbear Feel your pain!!! Couple of mine have been locked in storage awaiting work, due to lack of available funds!!! Driving a 320d estate for the last couple of years and maybe going to one or two events, (maybe a BTCC round £30ish or a local car show). Miserable!!!

I've often lamented my car obsession. Wish I was into something cheaper like.... football or pretty much any other hobby without an engine. I even spent years trying to be *less* interested in cars from 2019 to 2023 ish. Was considerably less happy.
