Palestinian football star Hani Al-Masri, also an Olympic coach, was murdered in Gaza. Yet, Israel plays on, immune to sanctions.
It's time to suspend Israel from international sports until it stops violating international law.

@HRCP87 Not comparable!
The question before SC in instant case was not that of fundamental right but whether or not the @ECP_Pakistan decision of holding @PTIofficial invalid was legal. The only answer possible was a "yes".

HRCP is deeply concerned by the Supreme Court's decision to uphold the ECP's revocation of the PTI's choice of electoral symbol. In 1988, on Benazir Bhutto's petition, the honourable court itself ruled that any infringement on the fundamental rights of a political party was an infringement on the rights of the citizens it represented, particularly as guaranteed under Article 17 protecting freedom of association. Denying a political party its electoral symbol not only significantly hinders its ability to freely participate in elections, it also effectively disenfranchises its voters, who rely on electoral symbols to choose their representatives.

We in #Pakistan as citizens of an Islamic country urgently demand Pakistan join South Africa by a Declaration of Intention. Millions of women, children, elderly are starving to death. We must do our best to bring justice for Palestinians.

@FaisalYousaf66 @sum_een You dominated your wife not to use her mental capacity & education. Why couldn't both of you share child rearing. Credit goes to your wife to accept a role decided by you but it's not fair and nothing to be proud of it.

Thank u Sumeen. My Mrs is M.Sc in Child Dev from Homics Lahore. I didn’t let her do a job & asked her specialty to be utilised for brought up of my daughters & my home environment. We have lived independently throughout & we both r so contented with our life decisions. With this background of wifey at home & a strong sense of observation perhaps!

Maid in Pakistan :-
At least 50% of the discussion which takes place among middle class women in Pakistan revolves around the maid. “You can’t find a good maid”, “I had a wonderful maid”, “How is your maid”, “I am looking for a maid”, so on and so forth. At least 80% of the ladies are always on the hunt for a “suitable” maid.
Initially, almost 90% maids appear to them good. But then after a while, due to some mysterious reasons, there is a steep fall in the maid’s image. And with every passing day, she becomes more and more unbearable. The one who used to perform her duties well is no more doing it satisfactorily.
The main victim who is forced to listen to all the demerits of the maid is generally the husband. “She is not working properly”, “She comes late”, “She comes early”, “She does not pick the mobile”, “She was asking for advance”, so on and so forth.
Middle aged married maids with distorted figures are always preferred. Unmarried maids are avoided. Unmarried maids with attractive figures are seldom employed. Unmarried maids having attractive figures and sharp features are out-rightly rejected.
An average middle class Pakistani woman hires and fires at least a dozen maids in a year. However, the quest for the ideal maid continues.
Some maids have great stories to share about the neighborhood. The ladies listen to these stories with profound interest. Through these maids, they come to know about the marital relations of other women, their lifestyle and other trivia- for example, the amount of laundry at Mrs. X’ home (is colossal.) Meat is seldom cooked in Mrs. Y’s house and the (huge) number of guests who visit Mrs. Z.
Maids who provide the ladies with free massage alongwith juicy stories are highly cherished. But this breed of maids is now becoming extinct as the majority is too preoccupied and do not have extra time.
Whenever something is misplaced, the first suspect is always the maid. However, most of the times, the misplaced item is recovered from inside the cupboard.
While they keep an eye on the maid, the other eye is monitoring the spouse. Any sustained “suspicious attention” is unpardonable and the maid has to pay the price with her job. And soon thereafter, the quest for another suitable maid begins!

@BinaShah So true Buna. I am amazed how women pounce on other women when they show courage to speak out.
