The Dodgers had used 4 pitchers before they got a hit in this game. Next thing they knew, the Yankees had gifted them 5 runs and ... Gerrit Cole had to throw 38 pitches in that inning. This game has turned upside-down.

@sarabelligoni @seminolecounty @fema Thank you! These look like exactly what I was looking for - Until I saw your post I didn't know risk communication was a discrete formal area of study. (Despite working at the margins of emergency management for many years) Always so much to learn.

@sarabelligoni @seminolecounty Any good basic references on risk communication? Those of us involved in emergency management of cultural resources would benefit from having a better understanding of this area.

I've made the move to Bluesky with my anosro handle. I'll be posting there about #Helene recovery with a focus on cultural resources. This is going to a very long recovery. Godspeed to all those affected.

Watching and seeing all the comments on Twitter abt the night running long, Biden pushed out of prime time, etc. Clearly scheduling has been muffed a bit. But the speeches have been consistent and on key. All seems fine to me. The people waiting to hear from Biden are D diehards.
