@apakula @thatolddog @OVOEnergy @ofgem Update from my side … after discussing over DM with Ovo, I have now had my DD lowered to the level I’d expect it should be. Would’ve been a lot easier if their call centre person could’ve achieved the same thing but she refused to budge!

My concern with Twitter has really nothing to do with the $8 per month. It’s that on day 2, Elon shared a conspiracy theory, and then joked about it after deleting. I was open minded until that moment. This will become truth social… a crazy echo chamber.

@Neal_UK @SSE @OVOEnergy @ofgem @MoneySavingExp Thanks, @Neal_UK. It's definitely not a question of tariff. The kWh numbers are vastly different (5K vs 9K) and @SSE/@OVOEnergy claim the IHDs can't be trusted.

@apakula @SSE @OVOEnergy @ofgem @MoneySavingExp IHDs should display usage in kWh accurately. Where they can sometime fall short is if the correct tariff prices aren't loaded or updated. This means the cost shown on the IHD can be completely wrong. Never generally known an IHD to not display correct kWh though.

@sse @OVOEnergy billed me for 9K kWh (£2K - before prices went up!) when smart meter/In Home Display showed 5K kWh. SSE say IHDs can't be trusted. Do you know your energy use could be 80% higher than the display tells you? @ofgem #energybills @MoneySavingExp
