@DarrenWHaynes @eduhatschek Don’t mind the article but this team is setting up to mushy middle unless they can get a stud in the draft. Every team that sets up multi year runs has a 1st or 2nd overall pick. The goaltending and coaching will limit that chance which means more of the same.

This one pains me greatly. Stromgren was actually good value where he was taken. But Stankoven was already at Stromgren's level in his pre-draft year and didn't get to play much in his draft year due to a global pandemic... but was trending way up in a small sample. Incredible value for 47th.

Challenge for the Leafs, is not goaltending, team defense or even the perceived lack of effort (which I don’t buy) it’s their inability to create offense, can’t pass it to create chances off rush and the PP has been off for two months. Again, they can’t score in Playoffs.

@Michphil1998 @JustinTrudeau One other thing to mention which has been conveniently not talked about is the fact we are already having threats to our power structure in Alberta with the current draw. What happens when we add thousands more 200 AMP homes? This is a ridiculous plan with zero merit.

It’s physically, logistically and supply chain IMPOSSIBLE to build 3.9 million homes in 7 years. That’s 557,142 homes a year or 1526 homes a day. Canada doesn’t have the labour force nor the supplies to build this many homes never mind city inspectors and other bureaucratic red tape earners who will be required to inspect these homes. What you’ll do by forcing the home building market to increase building beyond natural capacity is cause the cost of supplies to soar like they did in 2020 and 2021 and the cost of home building will double, workmanship will plummet and home owners will be left holding the bag.

If you think Canada’s Housing Plan is ambitious, that’s because it is. We’re going to build almost 4 million new homes by 2031. We’re going to change the way homes are built in Canada. And we’re going to create a new generation of homeowners. Let’s get going.

Question for people excited about the govt spending on housing, how will all this money address the lack of skilled labour, short supply of products, and the over regulation that adds enormous cost to building homes? Housing cost is not coming down any time soon.
