Israel's Dahiyeh strike today hit the building immediately next to the late @LokmanSlim's house, still used by members of his family. Mercifully none were wounded, but the house suffered damage.
The strike killed 3 and injured 15, per @NNALeb.

Following intensive talks, we are pleased to announce that the Peace Deal between the United States of America and Islamic Republic of Iran has been REACHED. Both sides have declared the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon.
The official signing ceremony will be on Friday, 19 June in Switzerland.
We would like to thank the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran for their commitment to finding a diplomatic solution to the conflict. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our brothers in this mediation effort, the great leadership of State of Qatar, for their support in reaching this agreement. I would also especially thank the visionary leadership of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Republic of Türkiye for their immense contributions in this regard.
With the agreement now in place, mediators will facilitate a series of meetings this week. These pre-implementation discussions will lay the foundation for the technical talks and the official signing ceremony.

A tragic security incident in Aden, Yemen’s temporary capital, has once again exposed the fragile security situation in the city.
According to local authorities, an armed member of the security detail assigned to protect the residence of Minister of State, Aden Governor Abdulrahman Al-Sheikh opened fire on fellow guards and nearby civilians in the Al-Dareen area. The attack left several people dead and injured before security forces surrounded and killed the gunman.
Among those killed was security guard Ahmed Al-Batani. The attack also claimed the lives of a couple, two respected Syrian doctors who happened to be passing through the area at the time of the shooting:
Dr. Samer Ahmed Hassan, a consultant in internal medicine, nephrology, kidney transplantation, and dialysis.
Dr. Samaher Al-Mousa, a consultant in rheumatology, joint diseases, and autoimmune disorders.
The couple worked at the Doctors Tower Medical Center in Al-Mansoura District, Aden, and were well known for their service to the local community.
This heartbreaking incident highlights the continuing deterioration of security conditions in Aden and raises serious concerns about the presence of armed individuals within security institutions. The loss of innocent civilians, medical professionals, and security personnel underscores the urgent need for stronger accountability, professional security reforms, and greater protection for the public.

@BellaYafa How arrogant of you to a) assume she knows nothing about Israelis and b) pretend that her wearing of national colors isn’t self-representation but aggression against you! Gaza and Palestine’s existence is not a contradiction of Israel’s, but rather predated it.
English

Yesterday I volunteered at the elections in Las Vegas. I checked in voters. I smiled. I did my job.
Then a woman walked in wearing a white shawl draped over her shoulders — red and green stripes, very deliberate, very visible. Gaza colors. Hamas colors. And I had to check her in, smile, and send her off to vote.
I was born in Israel. I came to this country in 1985 at 15 years old with nothing but hope for a better life. I love America. That's why I was standing there volunteering my time — because I believe in this country.
But here's what that woman didn't know.
My family doesn't just live in Israel — they are woven into its very existence. My father was born there in 1940. My mother in 1944. They were born under British rule, before the State of Israel even existed. They lived through its founding. They built their lives there. My aunts and uncles did the same.
I have 13 cousins, most married, all with children of their own. My brother is there. His son. His wife.
In Israel, military service isn't a choice. Every man and every woman enters the IDF at 18. My parents' generation served. My aunts and uncles served. Every single one of my cousins has served. Some are active right now. Some are in the reserves, one phone call away from being deployed.
So when she walked in wearing those colors, she wasn't just making a fashion statement. To me, that scarf represents rockets, tunnels, and massacres. It represents October 7th. It represents people who want my entire family wiped off the map.
I couldn't say a word. I was on duty. So I just watched.
And then I come home and find out a man with a Nazi tattoo just won an election somewhere in the USA.
I still believe in democracy/people. I do. But today it cost me something to stand there in silence while my heart was 7,000 miles away.
I just needed to say that out loud.
