Saravanan. Still couldnt comprehend or come out of the shock that Saravanan is no more with us. We became friends as Ilaiyaraaja fans, but became good friends over time. One of the most soft natured person I've seen. Never have heard or seen a harsh reaction from him. Had interacted with him during Nov, but didnt realise that would be the last conversation I'll have with him. I have so many memories with you and will miss you a lot. Rest in peace, my friend @vrsaran. With a heavy heart, Balaji. 🥹🥹

From his interview back in 1978. I suspect this is precisely what he did in 1993. Symphony with Tamil folk elements. Which didn’t quite fit in the grammar. Now he has done something that’s from the classical era. #countdowntovaliant
