I didn't want to have to do this, but this design agency robbed Designjoy. Making this public so nobody falls into the trap of working with them. Mike Shields, owner of agency featured below (One Brand One Planet), subscribed to Designjoy to rebrand his agency. Long story short, we worked together for 34 days. It was great. Super nice guy. Zero negative feedback or interactions. I completed his rebrand and website design (plus additional requests). He approved everything. Stated the work was "incredible". Then out of nowhere, he initiated a chargeback of the full payment 4 days after his subscription ended. Not partial. 100%. No warning. Nothing. Given that banks usually side with their clients over the merchant, it's unclear if I'll win despite the mountain of evidence. If I don't, he walks away with a month's worth of work, absolutely free. Be careful who you work with.

@armarca I think we both have the same viewpoint. Apple‘s initial logo had no value but its current logo has immense value. So based on where your startup is, the logo can make no or a lot of difference, justblike you said.

Logo design is overrated.. I hate to say this but as both a designer and a business owner, I must say that its NOT $10,000 - $50,000 important.. especially for newly funded startups.. ok I understand that they are trying to burn VC money, but still.. its a waste of funds.. On the other hand, web design is heavily underated as even small changes can significantly boost your conversions.. Investing in a professional web design agency is a clever thing todo..
