New AnimPose related strings were added in CS2 and they seem to introduce memory pooling and reference tracking. Animation poses are now pulled from a memory pool, meaning the CPU doesn’t have to constantly allocate and free animation data during gunfights. This reduces allocation overhead and improves CPU cache efficiency and gives players a smoother animations and more stable frame times in heavy 5v5 fights.
