The Central Crime Branch (CCB) Women Protection Wing detained six foreign women for allegedly soliciting men for prostitution near Madiwala Check Post, within the limits of the Koramangala police station. Senior officer said they received credible information about women standing near a bus stop on the footpath and approaching passersby for illegal activities. Acting on the tip-off, a team from the CCB Women Protection Wing rushed to the spot and conducted a verification. During the operation, six foreign nationals were found allegedly engaging in solicitation in a public place and secured all six women. Upon questioning, the women reportedly failed to produce valid passports and visa documents or provide satisfactory details regarding their stay in the country. All six were later handed over to the Koramangala police along with a detailed report for further legal action. A case has been registered, and further investigation is in progress.
