Had a constructive discussion with Dr. Silpi Sahoo ji, Chairperson of SAI International Education Group, on the implementation of #NEP2020. We spoke about the need to strengthen foundational learning, make education more skill-oriented, encourage Indian languages and ensure greater social participation in the education system while also addressing issues related to nutrition and fee transparency.
Also, discussed the significance of enabling an education ecosystem rooted in Indian values while preparing students for emerging global opportunities.

Key highlights include:
* Phased implementation
* Structured R1, R2 and R3 framework
* Internal school-based assessment for R3
* No separate Board Examination for R3 at Class X level
* Special provisions for CwSN, foreign/transient students and CBSE Schools abroad
* Scheme of Studies/Curriculum is available at: cbseacademic.nic.in/web_material/C…#CBSE#NCFSE2023#NEP2020
@pratapgrover No, you dont import most of your consumption basket. Your purchasing power depends on inflation not on FX directly. Your maths is not mathing.
Why study Science, Maths, Economics, or Arts at all?
Just make all 6 subjects languages. Let the entire system revolve only around language politics and language games.
Government schools have already been destroyed, and now the private education system is also being burdened through imposed dictates.
Parents and students paying lakhs in fees to private schools are not even being asked for consent.
Why are parents not opposing this 3 language system?
We are paying for our children’s education. We should have the right to decide what they study and what they want to excel in.
In order to facilitate students and resolve their queries and doubts, CBSE is extending following facilities
📞 Tele-counselling support is available at 1800-11-8004 to support students, parents and schools for important information and regarding exams/results/evaluation and reduce stress.

@Sushil_Raghav@cbse@dpradhanbjp@cbseindia29 acknowledged that even books for class 9 R3 are not ready. What are schools and students supposed to do. Fire these guys who dream up these policies.
@dpradhanbjp
@ndtv@tejshreethought The world is moving onto math and science. You are still pushing India back with these stupid policies, just to keep some language teachers employed. Time to throw out the entire @cbseindia29 .
@surenrk@TheAnuragTyagi You moron.. teachers only correct papers even in OSM. Just the paper is scanned instead of physical paper. First understand basics before commenting. Or are you an employee of the stupid @cbseindia29 ?
@TheAnuragTyagi Haven't students scored above 75% in CBSE, and if they have, then your logic is useless. For the first time, the machine has checked the copies fairly, otherwise, to show good results, CBSE used to give marks above 75% even to dumb students.
A student cleared JEE Main…
one of the toughest exams in India. 🇮🇳
But the same student is now being told they “failed” in CBSE Class 12 boards because of questionable digital evaluation. 💔
Think about this for a second.
A child capable of solving advanced Physics, Chemistry & Maths questions in JEE
is suddenly declared weak in the same subjects in boards?
This is exactly why lakhs of students are losing trust in the evaluation system.
Students are not demanding free marks.
They are demanding fair checking, transparency, and the right to see their evaluated copies without financial burden.
When hardworking students start doubting the system instead of themselves…
the problem is much bigger than marks.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (@cbseindia29) makes the study of three languages compulsory for students from Class IX from July 1, 2026.
Board says that at least two of the three languages must be native Indian languages, in line with the National Education Policy 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education 2023.
CBSE clarifies that there will be no Board examination for the third language (R3) in Class 10th, adding that all assessments for R3 will be entirely school-based and internal.
@TimesNow@PMOIndia@cbseindia29 has gone rogue. These guys are basically trying to kill the future of students of india. Dissolve @cbseindia29 completely and reconstitute. Why this mess up in language policy. Why the tearing hurry.
CBSE's big language policy rollout
- July 2026: CBSE's three-language rule to kick in
- CBSE mandates the 3-language rule for Grades 9-10
- Circular issued to all CBSE-affiliated schools
- At least 2 languages studied must be Indian
- Foreign language may be studied as third option
@cbseindia29@cbseindia29 in this messup and all bad press, you also introduced 3rd language for class 9 and 10. Where you hoping this unnecessary change will go unnoticed along with the OSM mess up. You guys are playing with kids future. @PMOIndia please reconstitute @cbseindia29
Message to Students
It appears from social media posts that many students of class XII Board are anxious about their results/marks and are attributing it to change of assessment scheme i.e. On-Screen Marking (OSM) mechanism re-introduced this year. The Board is extremely sensitive to their concerns and is alive to addressing it accordingly.
The CBSE reiterates that student well-being is of paramount importance and, therefore, has attempted to address all possible issues which could arise. The key benefits of OSM are uniformity in evaluation with adherence to the marking scheme prepared by experienced CBSE teachers. The marking scheme also contains alternative methods of answering so that children who answer deploying alternative methods are also graded.
If any student feels dissatisfied with the result, there are clear and transparent avenues available, including verification of marks, access to evaluated answer books, and re-evaluation. For those feeling anxious or uncertain, tele-counselling support (1800-11-8004) is also available. They may also reach out through the email resultcbse2026@gmail.com.
We would encourage students and parents to directly use these official channels to seek clarity and support, for any unanswered doubts. Every concern deserves attention, and no student is alone in this process.

@ANI@BJP4India@PMOIndia The @cbseindia29 is the most stupid organization. Please stop this nonsense. Just few weeks back it was planned to start gradually from 6th. Now all of a sudden a change in policy. Is this to hide the failures of @dpradhanbjp in neet?
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made the study of three languages compulsory for students from Class IX beginning July 1, 2026, while clarifying that there will be no Board examination for the third language (R3) in Class X.
In a circular issued on May 15, the Board said that at least two of the three languages must be native Indian languages, in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023.
“With effect from 1st July 2026, for Class IX, the study of three languages (R1, R2, R3) shall be compulsory, with at least two languages being native Indian languages,” the circular stated.
