lenskart@Lenskart_com

We have heard you. Clearly and openly. Over the past few days, our community and customers have spoken - and we have listened. Today, we are standardizing our In-Store Style Guide and sharing it publicly and transparently: lenskart.com/style-guide-le… These guidelines explicitly and unambiguously welcome every symbol of faith and culture our team members carry - bindi, tilak, sindoor, kalawa, mangalsutra, kada, hijab, turban, and more. Not as exceptions. As who we are. Lenskart was built in Bharat, by Indians, for Indians. Our 2400+ stores are run by people who bring their beliefs, their traditions, their identity to work every day. That is not something we will ever ask anyone to leave at the door. If any version of our workplace communication caused hurt or made any of our team members feel that their faith was unwelcome here, we are deeply sorry. That is not who Lenskart is, and it is not who we will ever be. We make a commitment today - not just in words, but in the document we are publishing - that every policy, every training material, and every communication that carries the Lenskart name will reflect these values. We remain committed to applying these guidelines fairly and consistently, and will continue to review and improve our processes. We will do better. And we will keep earning your trust. 🙏 -Team Lenskart

Very very wrong to file a FIR against @AnilAgarwal_Ved vicarious liability cannot be fixed on a person who is not responsible for that particular place. He is not the Occupier A total over reach creating fear in industry. Minister @arjunrammeghwal @PiyushGoyal please have a look.

The tragedy in Chhattisgarh is deeply painful. 20 families have lost everything. Proper compensation, livelihood support for the families, and a thorough investigation are non-negotiable. But naming Shri @AnilAgarwal_Ved Ji in the FIR before any investigation raises serious concerns. He is a self-made man from a humble and backward community background who built a global enterprise from scratch. He had no role in that plant's operations. When accidents happen in PSU plants or Railways, do we name the Chairman? We do not. The same standard must apply to the private sector too. Investigate first. Establish responsibility based on evidence. Then act. India's #ViksitBharat vision needs people like Shri Anil Agarwal to keep investing and building. That happens only when investors trust the system. 🇮🇳

When God has a plan… From selling bhatura chole at Vivek Public School in 1989, to opening Lawrence Garden Banquet from the back of my house in Amritsar in 1990. In 1991, I chose culinary arts— a decision that embarrassed almost everyone except my grandmother. There were years of humiliation I rarely speak about. Moments that nearly broke me. In 2000, when my banquet was torn down, I almost gave up. Instead, I moved to the United States and started over. Cleaning homes. Selling food on the streets of TriBeCa. Sleeping at Grand Central. Experiencing homelessness at NYC Rescue. Sleepless nights. Being called “Curry Boy” on the 7 train. And still, I kept going. From there… 8 Michelin stars. Then losing myself again. Then starting over—one last time as a promise to my sister—with Bungalow. And now… TIME100 Most Influential People in the World 2026. I’m still trying to process it. The journey continues.

Chitale Bandhu: Taking the Taste of Maharashtra to the World Stage Inaugurated and unveiled the stone plaque of 'Chitale Bandhu Vision Park' in Pune today. Chitale Bandhu carries a strong legacy built over generations and now exports its products to 35 countries. Four generations have not only sustained the business but have also continuously expanded it. Today, they are moving forward with confidence to grow as a global brand. Food is a significant soft power, and every part of India has a rich cuisine. Chitale Bandhu has brought Maharashtra's tradition to the world through its wide range of products while maintaining a strong focus on purity and cleanliness. The viewing gallery reflects transparency, allowing students, distributors, and visitors to see how the products are made and experience the process. It is also commendable to see the factory's use of renewable energy. Chitale Bandhu is playing a key role in taking Indian food to the world and building a strong identity for Maharashtrian cuisine across countries. The Government of Maharashtra remains committed to supporting such food industries, helping them grow further and share the taste of Maharashtra far and wide. Minister Chandrakant Dada Patil, MLA Bhimrao (Anna) Tapkir, MLA Siddharth Shirole, Indraneel Chitale, Managing Partner at Chitale Bandhu and other dignitaries were present. @ChDadaPatil @BhimraoTapkir @SidShirole @cIndraneel #Maharashtra #ChitaleBandhu #Pune

The Curious Tales
The Curious Tales@thecurioustales·
🚨 JUST IN: A migratory bird just shattered world records — flying 8,425 miles (13,560 km) NON-STOP across the Pacific without landing once. The bar-tailed godwit doesn’t stop to eat, drink, or sleep during its migration across the Pacific Ocean. Its journey from Alaska to Australia takes roughly 11 days of continuous flight, covering over 13,000 kilometers through storms, headwinds, and open ocean with zero land beneath it the entire time. Before departure, it does something almost surgical to its own body. It shrinks its digestive organs down to almost nothing, converting the stomach, intestines, and liver into raw fuel. The bird essentially eats its own gut to make room for fat reserves that will power its wings for nearly two weeks straight. The brain doesn’t fully sleep either. Half of it stays active while the other half rests, alternating in shifts mid-flight at altitude over the open Pacific. The godwit is simultaneously unconscious and navigating with magnetic field sensitivity that no human instrument in the 18th century could replicate. What makes this genuinely staggering beyond the physical record is the navigational precision involved. The bird leaves Alaska and arrives in New Zealand with accuracy that would embarrass early GPS systems. It reads Earth’s magnetic field, atmospheric pressure gradients, star positions, and potentially quantum-level compass mechanisms inside its eye that literally let it see magnetic field lines overlaid on its visual field. Evolution spent millions of years building an aerospace navigation system inside a 300 gram animal. We spend billions engineering machines that do what this bird does on instinct, fat reserves, and half a sleeping brain. The longest recorded non-stop flight by a commercial aircraft is around 20 hours. This bird does 11 days. Without a runway.

I’m completely stranded at Moscow airport… alone, helpless, and running out of hope. No one from @makemytripcare or @etihad is answering my desperate messages. Russia doesn’t accept Visa or Mastercard anymore. I have ZERO cash left. Not even for food or water. The Etihad ground staff is avoiding me more than my ex ever did — literally turning their faces away and telling me “just call customer care”… which has been busy for hours. I’m standing here like a beggar in my own nightmare. I don’t know how I’m going to get home. I’m scared. I feel abandoned by the very companies I trusted with my journey. My family is waiting and I can’t even tell them I’m safe. Please… if anyone from Etihad, MakeMyTrip, or even the Indian embassy sees this — HELP ME. And if you’re reading this, just one RT could save me. I’m begging. #StrandedInMoscow
