In my opinion, Washington made a catastrophic decision by going ALL-IN on the "13 Days to Flatten Iran's Oil" pipedream, and now are rapidly realizing how disastrously it overpromised and underdelivered.
As a result of this, the Trump Administration is now being put in a position where if they look like the aggressor (again), they will face severe domestic backlash. For this reason, they are attempting to bait the Iranian's into attacking U.S. vessels so that they have the cover of "defensive measures" to restart this conflict because they know their current strategy has failed miserably.
Whether or not a U.S. vessel was struck or not this morning by Iran, it is clear that the U.S. is trying to find a way to restart the conflict without being "at fault" because they know this waiting game they have been playing until Iran shuts-in their oil wells and "explodes their oil infrastructure" was promised on a downright ridiculous timeline.

@AyshaSusmaz Bang On! Iran 🇮🇷 is showing the world how to resist a bully and his cronies. A lesson that has already had implications way beyond one could ever imagine a few months ago.

The Islamic Republic will NOT fall. Cope harder.
And no, I’m a proud Sunni, not Shia.
My support for Iran is not about Palestine or resistance. It’s about standing with a nation that refuses to kneel.
It has survived pressure that was meant to break it.
History shows those who resist don’t break, they endure.

@allenanalysis None of them can admit Biden won the 2020 election. None of them will say for sure that the felon cannot run for a 3rd term, which he can't. So they should NOT be confirmed. This isn't rocket science. If a judge cannot follow the LAW then they shouldn't be a judge.

@allenanalysis Fucking scofflaws, every one of them. Emboldened by the most corrupt court to ever be appointed.

@allenanalysis North Korea level fear in these zero integrity fucks. When the Independent Judiciary is too scared to say the sky is blue unless the Supreme Leader says it’s ok…America as it’s been defined for 250 years is in its last days. Cults are one evil scourge on humanity.

JUST IN: A Trump judicial nominee was asked point blank: is Trump eligible to run for a third term?
Their answer: “I would have to review the actual wording…”
Sen. Chris Coons then asked every nominee in the room to confirm the Constitution bars a third term.
Silence.
Every single one of them refused to say it.
Trump is appointing judges who won’t affirm the 22nd Amendment to his face.
Never stop connecting the dots.

@ProfessorPape @abbasnasir59 So also the WTC false flag as a pretext to invade Afghanistan. However history has a fondness for repeating itself.
The end result here too would be the same: shameful surrender.

Trump’s announced “escort” of ships thru Hormuz recalls the famous 1964 Tonkin Gulf incident …
A manufactured pretext for the United States to massively escalate its military involvement in the Vietnam War
Prepare for major escalation vs Iran

Israel must immediately release the activists it has kidnapped in int'l waters. Persecuting those who oppose Apartheid is part of the crime of Apartheid.
Israel won't stop bullying killing and torturing people until it is forced to:
Boycott, Divest, Protest, Activate courts now.

UAE allowed itself to be turned into an Israeli base at a time when not just the Arab world but much of the entire planet has turned against Israel as a genocidal rogue state. Now, UAE advocates are frustrated that no one is coming to its defense.
𝑺𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒂𝒏 𝑨𝒍𝒂𝒍𝒊@sultanwho
The fact that the Arab League is silent while the IRCG targets the UAE and threatens shipping is unacceptable. Why haven’t we heard clear condemnation of these attacks? The pattern is obvious and the ambition to expand influence across the Gulf is no secret. Silence at this point isn’t neutrality. It’s complicity.

Iran reportedly attacked the Fujairah oil terminal. This is the endpoint of the ADCOP pipeline, the UAE's only Hormuz bypass. 1.5 million barrels per day of crude capacity, expandable to 1.8 million.
This pipeline was built specifically so the UAE could export oil without transiting the Strait of Hormuz. Iran is not just hitting a coalition partner. They are targeting the infrastructure that lets oil flow without Hormuz.
The only other major Hormuz bypass is Saudi Arabia's East-West pipeline to Yanbu, which was attacked in April and lost approximately 700,000 barrels per day of throughput.
Iran's message is clear. If they cannot export through Hormuz, nobody bypasses it either.

China built a $20 billion oil refinery in Nigeria, and Europe is furious.
Nigeria, one of Africa's largest oil producers, had no refinery. For decades, it exported crude and imported gasoline at markup. China's Dangote Oil Refinery in Lagos changed that. Now Nigeria is exporting refined gasoline instead of just raw crude.
The refinery is operating at 94% of its 650,000-barrel-per-day capacity, meeting domestic demand with surplus shipped abroad. In March, Nigeria exported approximately 44,000 barrels of gasoline per day. A single shipment of 317,000 barrels reached Mozambique—the first delivery to East Africa.
Production is projected to reach 1.4 million barrels per day within three years, making it Africa's largest refinery.
For decades, Western oil majors kept Nigeria dependent while extracting crude, refining it abroad, and selling it back at a premium. China built the infrastructure Europe refused to. Now Nigeria controls its own energy supply chain, and European refiners are losing a captive market.
This is what economic sovereignty looks like. This shouldn’t surprise any of our subs, we covered this story back in November on DD Geopolitics.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS: Putin: "I want the ordinary citizens of Western countries to hear me."
"You are being persistently told that all your current difficulties are the result of hostile actions by vicious Russia, and that you must pay for the fight against a mythical Russian threat out of your own pockets. All of this is a lie."
"The truth is that the problems you are facing now are the result of years of actions by the ruling elites of your own countries... their mistakes, short-sightedness, and ambition. They do not think about how to improve your lives; they are obsessed with their own selfish interests and excessive profits." - Vladimir Putin
Let me know what you think,
and SHARE THIS so that others may too.
THIS NEEDS TO GO VIRAL,
THE WORLD NEEDS TO HEAR THIS!

Honoured to be invited to Iran's Ministry of Foreign affairs, to discuss possible next steps in the U.S. Iran negotiations, with Pakistan doing a great job as mediators.
It was an off the record table but what I can share is this: Iranian ministers are respectful, articulate, highly educated and extremely well thought out. And we had a laugh about Donald Trump.

@whocaress66 @Araghchhi So you think you own Iran? You've never lived under Savak for sure. And you're a puppet of the west that has plundered every continent on earth 🌎 for centuries. What a shame.

Israel pushed the idea that Iran is a paper tiger, which Trump naively believed, and that the Islamic Republic is weak to the point that Iran could be finished with one final blow.
It has turned out to be completely false for many reasons. Tehran understands itself as being on the defensive in this war while resisting American-Israeli aggression, and has put up a pretty fierce fight.

The sooner we recognize this hard truth—that there’s no military solution to the conflict with Iran—the better off the United States will be.
Sheer military force cannot reopen the Strait of Hormuz without escalating the war and sucking us into another endless, bloody quagmire that delivers zero benefit to our people.
We can’t get rid of the emboldened government in Tehran, regardless of how many leaders we kill. If we try we will end up with a government or failed state, worse than what we have now.
The inevitable reality is this: we will have to cut a deal with Iran. We can be pragmatic and do it now on our own terms, or we can keep listening to the same neocons and the Israeli government who got us into this mess, only to cut the same deal after we’ve lost even more.
Recognizing that we have hit the point of diminishing returns and pulling out now is not weakness. It is strength—and it’s the right thing to do for the American people.
