This new e-challan scam in India via SMS is smart. They do not wait for you to enter details and press a button. As you add your details, it keeps storing it on the backend. Even if you realise midway that this is a scam and close the website, you are already compromised.

Who says Indians are not innovative? Look at the sophistication of this scam 😱 I almost entered my card details before googling the domain. Insane amount of fraud must be happening with so many people. By the time police starts acting on it, they’d make millions! Terrible 😠

@ActusDei I have NPS through my employer. The only problem is I can't choose allocation. Currently its LC50. Can we have our choice of allocation or do I have to follow companies ?

@ask_samrat @ActusDei That will still be an Employee contribution as far as I could understand and thus no tax benefits in the new regime.

What I do in the 1st week of April 1) PPF contribution of 1.5 lakh before 5th April to get full PPF interest for the yr (PPF interest is credited on the lowest balance between 5th & last day of the month). 2) Pay NPS contribution for the year. 50k. Their tax benefits have gone away in the New Regime (employer contribution to NPS tax benefits remain, but mine is All Citizens Model). But both products are still good in terms of returns & tax on returns (EEE & EET)
