@matthew_shanks1 @bbctheview He certainly did, but that’s the bbc bias, the highlight for me was when Jon Burrows nailed hazard, his face was a picture like a bulldog chewing a wasp

Mark Carruthers absolutely slapped down by the DUP’s Jonathan Buckley MLA on @bbctheview last night. Carruthers tried to deflect from some cultures supporting child marriage, stoning etc. The BBC should reflect on his position after his shameful attempt at distraction tactics.

Jonathan Buckley floundering on @bbctheview Perhaps he should address the relationship between racist violence being almost exclusively a feature in loyalist areas & alarmist rhetoric re ‘alien culture/mass immigration’ being exclusively the language of unionism in this state.

Republicans & nationalists changed the circumstances in Ireland, the IRA stood down after the Irish people reached an agreement which they ratified in 1998. Unionism has never embraced our GFA, that's their problem, if they have any alternative, it has to go to the Irish people.
Edward Dutton@jollyheretic

How can Michelle O'Neill - the deputy leader of Sinn Fein, the political arm of the IRA - call for people not to use violence to get what they want?

Paramilitaries are not just organised crime gangs like anywhere else and organised crime gangs are not just the paramilitaries of the past. They are a combination of both and it is the unique merging of our past and the outworkings of the war on drugs that makes NI unique.

@JayBasra2 Yes, that particular oaf is well known, I think it could be the way he has been dragged up, perhaps mental health issues or indeed indoctrination who knows. Any way keep up the good work

Living rent free as usual. Nice to see some people have nothing better or productive to add to society. Instead, they spend their time on Twitter on alt accounts. Believing they pull the strings, while in actuality, are only pulling their own 👍

My thoughts and prayers are with Jay Barza at this terrible time if you need sanctuary in any nationalist and republican golf and spa resorts get in touch with anyone on social media, We're here to assist with housing needs

@AlexKane221b @mikenesbittni @StephenNolan Why does the BBC pretend to care Alex? Stephen constantly allows the likes of Bryson, Allister, Buckley and Gaston to whip up tensions and tell lies unchallenged. Has happened all week and today as well

How did Irish Republicans up in places like Belfast get so convinced into supporting something like mass immigration which serves to financially benefit what are mostly zionist elites? Supporting mass immigration has sweet F all to do with Irish republicanism.

Controversy over the handling of a march and counter protest in Scarva. Dozens of police officers, some in riot gear, and water cannon were deployed as part of the policing operation in the Co Down village where several hundred people joined a protest against a Palestine solidarity walk on Saturday. The DUP branded the police operation ‘heavy handed’ and said many of those on the ground felt it did nothing to reduce tension. Others have criticised the DUP MP Carla Lockhart after she was pictured standing near masked men. We hear from DUP MLA Jonathan Buckley who was also on the ground in Scarva, from Alliance Party MP Sorcha Eastwood, local resident Wesley who took part in the protest and Catherine – one of the organisers from the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign. Listen to the full discussion on BBC Sounds.

Why does it seem too hard for NI Loyalists to understand that the struggle for Irish independence is about ending British rule in Ireland & nothing really to do with them directly? James Connolly recognised this in the 1900s, so why can't Unionists see what the problem is today?

The Unite the Kingdom march organisers are spreading hatred and division. They do not reflect the Britain I’m proud of. Peaceful protest is a fundamental right and one I will always protect. But if protest turns violent, we will act swiftly, with extra court capacity in place.

@chrisadonnelly Blame the brits, blame them auld unionists, if you’re going to whine ,at least whine at the people ultimately responsible that’s the gaa and their amateurish planning, or you could whine at the local residents who challenged the fiasco.although that might not suit the narrative
