Introducing Casp I have been developing a new workforce management platform aimed at helping organizations allocate manpower efficiently. CASP streamlines how teams manage employees, projects, and allocation assignments with a lightning-fast dashboard and near real-time updates. Here is a look at some of the work and technical challenges I tackled to bring this to life: 🔹 UI/UX Design: Created the complete user interface and experience from scratch in @figma , focusing on a clean, intuitive, and modern dashboard. 🔹 Core Architecture: Developed a web application using @nextjs and @typescript . 🔹 Real-Time Data Sync: Implemented real-time table synchronization using @ElectricSQL shape endpoints and @tan_stack DB to power reactive, live collections directly on the client. 🔹 Caching & Performance: Integrated @Redisinc using @upstash for efficient data caching, ensuring rapid load times and low-latency operations across the platform. 🔹 Bulk Data Handling: Developed a dedicated @golang service specifically to manage high-volume, bulk Excel imports into the Postgres data model. 🔹 Dynamic Workflows: Engineered a schema-driven onboarding flow that allows organizations to fully customize their employee and project fields. 🔹 Secure Infrastructure: Leveraged @supabase for robust authentication, authorization, and core PostgreSQL data storage. Tech Stack & Tools: - Design: Figma - Languages: TypeScript, Go - Frontend: Next.js 16, React 19, Tailwind CSS, Zustand, TanStack Query, TanStack DB - Backend & Data: Supabase (Auth + PostgreSQL), Electric SQL, Redis CASP is currently in its Beta version, and I am actively tweaking, learning, and improving it. Looking for insights into the challenges and feedback companies experience when using employee management software. Feedback is always appreciated.

My DMs are empty, my inbox is empty. There are companies I’ve interviewed with but haven’t heard back from. Weeks have gone by without any response, positive or negative. I don’t know what’s going to happen. That’s the status of this month’s report. I hope I can find a job soon.

built norway [repo in comments] a single binary reverse proxy in go. alternative to traefik, minus the kubernetes baggage and the 100mb binary wrote my own config DSL because yaml is a war crime. real compiler underneath, lexer, parser, AST, validator, errors with exact line and column radix tree router. three load balancing strategies. health checks. rate limiting. live stats. TLS. hot reload with atomic handler swap so in flight requests finish on the old config 20,000 req/s on a laptop. p99 under 15ms. 100 percent success. 63ns radix lookups with zero allocations. 21 microsecond reloads built it to actually understand what nginx and traefik do, not just configure them. turns out a reverse proxy in a few thousand lines of go is fine

Every project needs OG images and a favicon set. nobody wants to make them. metadata-gen scans your repo — colors, logo, title — and generates the whole set locally. no API keys, no upload. npx metadata-gen init

One really cool architecture you can build with Turso / libSQL: keep the DB locally as a cache and have the remote DB as the primary. Turso has a concept of "embedded replicas." Basically, this enables replication for the embedded SQLite DB, which gives microsecond reads! (1/3)

@iavins Have it local where API lives, same system. M.2 SSD. Something really snappy, like sqlite that can load itself in mem even. Thank me later. Difference to typical rubbish cloud setup is astonishing.

@atharv_rem I’ve been thinking about this for a long time. I’m trying to get the ecosystem back on track a bit. I hope it’s helpful.

I’m open-sourcing Rift, a lightweight AI chat for teams. Think @t3dotchat , but self-hostable and built for organizations. • BYOK + Zero Data Retention for AI Providers • Super fast navigation powered by @zero__ms • File conversion to Markdown + RAG • Nested conversation branching • Org-level policies for model access, tools, and knowledge • Mobile app coming soon! And the backend is built on @EffectTS_ v4. We wanted to get the chat fundamentals right as there are still lots of users that prefer a clean chat UI for some tasks. Check out the repo, you can self-host it on @Railway in literally 5 minutes ↴
