@ainerugaba @BalaamBarugahar Just bse he purports to mediate family disputes in camera doesn’t mean he is effective. He used people z private problems for fame
English

Politics aside, Hon. @BalaamBarugahar has been more effective as Youth and Children’s Affairs Minister than the judiciary’s family courts.
In fact, at LDC we used to joke that he was a more effective remedy than drafting endless court documents. The docket will miss him.

@lulanzeashirafu eeeh banange, for breeding? bambi sugar coat that word abit
English

@brianmixologist @EriasLukwago_ U know Lukwago doesn’t run the KCCA budget but the ED?
English

If there is something @EriasLukwago_ could have done for the people of Kampala is to apologize to them for the mess he kept Kampala in while he was demanding cars with personalised number plates & advancing his personal fights. Look at how Gulu’s outskirts look like 🙌
English

@assempebwa @MoWT_Uganda We hope he gets rid of scammers like digital number plates, the camera nonsense,

@MwesigyeFranks @IGGUganda @mkainerugaba @CID1_UG @KomugishaPeace @Nabimara_Paul @kirya_ug @Ronkawamara @TourismBoardUg @Nyinancweende @CoffeeMarathon_ Flyer says empowering people of Karamoja to plant coffee? Has he even been to Karamoja? The people there are fighting to get clean drinking water & now u want to use their name to loot?
English

It seems our attention has been heavily focused on Rt. Hon. Anita Among while ignoring other serious cases of mismanagement of public funds. Mr. Tugume is bringing an American singer and actor Mr. Tyrese Gibson on 3rd October 2026 at a cost of $1 million USD, an amount far higher than the money spent on purchasing a Rolls-Royce , all in the name of promoting Ugandan coffee.
My question is: how exactly does this faded singer and actor promote our coffee? How many Ugandans even know his songs or movies? Why can’t we empower our own local artists to become ambassadors of Ugandan coffee instead of spending huge sums on foreign celebrities?
These coffee marathon activities should be urgently investigated because we are losing a lot of money on things that add little or no value to ordinary Ugandans.

@DenisNabz @AllanBrian1 @DailyMonitor All this can be streamlined in one office. The cost of compliance is too high. It’s cheaper to now trade in the dark
English

@AllanBrian1 @atimlatigo @DailyMonitor It's the usual registration fees you have been paying. Entities like companies, business names etc already registered will not need any fresh registration. Their Business registration numbers become the ERNs.
English

UPDATE: Non-individual entities, including companies, NGOs, cooperatives, associations, and government agencies, have been urged to acquire Entity Registration Numbers (ERNs) to avoid future operational challenges. Arthur Kwesiga, the Commissioner for ICT and Innovations at @URSBHQ, says the move is intended to integrate organisations into the formal economy and government compliance systems. He added that ERNs will be a prerequisite for accessing government services. Other entities targeted include partnerships, trusts, collective investment schemes, trade unions, and organized groups.

⚠️FORWARD MAINTENANCE UPDATE: Our teams have commenced forward maintenance works along the Kyegegwa–Kyenjojo Road, currently towards Kakabara Trading Centre.
The ongoing interventions include pothole filling and corrugation removal to restore motorability, ease traffic bottlenecks and improve safety for road users.
These are TEMPORARY emergency maintenance works aimed at keeping the road passable as MOBILIZATION for more comprehensive rehabilitation progresses.

He died because of a pothole
Tindimwebwa failed to see a deep pothole and fell off. Unfortunately, when he fell, one of his ribs had punctured his lung, so he was becoming increasingly short of breath. The doctors did an emergency procedure to drain the blood and air from the lining of the lungs, but they were unable to save him. He was 44 years old, with his life in front of him, but died because of a pothole.

@URAuganda We saw in news that instead of buying a train, yo leaders purchased for the speaker a rolls Royce? How do u expect us to pay when u squander the little money on useless things
English

It's filing season, our taxes can do wonders for the country like transforming the Kampala Namanve commuter train to a bullet train.
All you need to do is file and pay your taxes.
