I HATE CREATING GMAIL ACCOUNTS FOR MY LOCAL AGENTS
every time i build a script that needs to parse incoming mail, i hit a wall
exposing my personal inbox is a security risk, and creating fake accounts requires phone verification loops
i ended up connecting Atomic Mail to Claude Code yesterday
it took less than a minute to spin up a clean inbox via API:
> no human Captchas or phone check verification loops during setup
> the agent gets its own dedicated address to handle messages
> incoming mails feed directly into the workflow via MCP
the setup is open source and free in alpha - it actually made product of the day on Product Hunt

i used to hand my agent my own email
for 7 days the verification codes buried everything that mattered. i was the human step in a workflow that was supposed to run itself.
so i gave it its own inbox. plugged it in over MCP in one sitting, nothing to wire up. now it signs up, grabs the code, and runs the rest on its own.

An email for AI agents is actually an interesting idea.
I guess it’s like having an employee with its own email address and you cc’d them whenever you need their help.
This will keep separation between your email and the agent’s. It will also allow the agent to act freely on whatever emails they get without any concerns.

Not really, you set up a inbox to your agent with one promt, give an email address. And then you tell him what to do - he can send messages, read, do a summary, agents can correspond with each other, automate their workflow, launch workflows. There are many use cases, the main thing is that it is available and free!
