@omgsidewalks Had a job at Ryder locked me in a 5x 5 office with 2 other grown folks one of them being the trainer came down with Covid they got me sick and then when I called off for a Saturday meeting (m-f normal shift) they said I was fired without a doctors note.

Actually, requiring Doctor’s notes to excuse sick days is inherently classist in a country without universal healthcare, and it is wild how little that is discussed.
