@wolfr_2 I agree styles doesn’t feel right. spacing/border/radius/shadow should be in the theme layer.

@ausrobdev Now as library authors, we get to deal with all this complexity. Imo the architecture of styles is wrong in the first place. The style does too many things at once, that are interrelated with spacing/border radii/... which should imo be decoupled.

I think it's good to be wary of Figma file complexity when proposing design system architectures. You want the receiver of the file to get it, and not have to wade in a sea of complexity.

@wolfr_2 Unfortunately a lot of customers buy this complexity, it sells. But they don’t need it in practice.

Certain architectures, mostly the ones who create double layered interdepencies, sit in the way of doing actual work. For example, if there is a 3 layered spacing system, good luck ever changing the spacing. At some level of complexity, the complexity defeats the purpose.

I still have to pinch myself some days when I realize what I created with supastarter. Looking through my stats on Polar I realized that since moving there from LS about 1 year and 2 months ago, I already crossed $200k in total revenue, which are numbers that I could have never dreamed of when I started this project 🚀 I'm incredibly thankful to everyone who has followed and supported my journey so far and of course for every single supastarter customer ❤️ And actually I'm just getting started. With the Tanstack Start version in early access right now and the mobile starter kit in development, there is so much too be excited for 🔥

Spent the last few months thinking about what to do with Quattro this year. The honest answer was hire, scale, build a team. The right answer was the opposite. Quattro stays as a one-person studio in 2026. Not because I can't grow it, because the work I want to do requires staying close to it. Fewer projects at a time, calmer pace, no managing a team in between me and the actual design. And the person you talk to on day one is the same person doing the work on day twenty. New site 2.0 is live → quattro.design

Yes, Stripe available Revone is fully local-first: your API keys are stored securely in macOS Keychain revenue data stays on your device Revone doesn’t upload or store your business data on our servers For Stripe specifically, you can also use a restricted read-only API key for extra security. The app only reads data needed for analytics and revenue tracking.

I'm using Polar for one business, Lemon Squeezy for another, and Gumroad for another, across multiple accounts. That’s why I built and use Revone.app With one single app, I can see all my revenue easily, get notifications, and check my revenue right from the menubar 🙌

@ausrobdev Agree!! ThemeForest was sooo ahead of its time back then. The market still needs a modern version built for today’s creators and developers.

@bruzli Probably easier to get an app approved on the App Store then it is on envato as well if you can believe that 😝

Envato (themeforest) just increased its marketplace commissions to 50% due to “challenging market conditions”

Really excited to share that I'm joining @Lovable with @jamesm! We'll be reimagining lovable[dot]dev from the ground up: how branding lives on the web, how a site can be a real growth engine, how every pixel can carry a point of view

A Reddit user built 65 apps. None of them went viral or became hugely successful. But by making around $60/month from just 2–3 users on each app, he’s now generating almost $4,200/month in total 🤯🤯
