A part of my process is always trying to find visuals that will clearly show the idea I have in my mind to make sure my team will all be on board during production! I also find these images so that the director and I can speak and agree on the look and feel!

I've been following these tiny home sales on the east side of San Antonio for a little while. They have more inventory available now than anytime I've noticed in the past, and we're starting to see some decent discounts. What would you pay for this 661 SF home?

@Kurpanek What a great and amazing movie on so many different levels!

Our editorial workflow was insane. The edit was done in Final Cut Pro 7. We transcoded all R3D to jpegs & dpx. We conformed the entire movie in After Effects. So. Many. Layers. And stabilized 3k+ shots using jpegs. Relinked to dpx and exported with EDL for color. Nuts.

"what camera should i get" is probably THE most asked question I receive. It takes some experimentation in the beginning to figure out what you like. Ergonomics, glass, sensor size, menus, codecs, color etc. But once you're good you're good. You're better off really tuning your setup thru out the years (menus, glass, accessories, audio) than actually buying new cameras. Upgrade cycles for me went from 1-2 years in the beginning (I bought a lot of cheaper cams trying to figure out what I like) to now every 4-7 years depending.

I love that when you ask most YouTubers what their go to camera is - who actually do YouTube as a living - they say a 3 year old camera. The A7S III. When it works it works and that's all that matters.

@mgaak1dev @John1_1_D One of the only wyswyg programs for html and css. Please name me any of its competitors which are still alive. Not code editors but visual editors. I’m always looking for a cheaper option for students.

@icreatelife What are the best tools to use to process actual or existing photos to look ai? I was told to check out dream studio, Image to image processing.

There’re things that Firefly Image 2 can do that neither Midjourney, DALL-E 3 or SDXL can’t do. I tested extensively. For example, it’s photos that look like actual photos. Photos you could take with your camera or smartphone. I promise to make a guide how to prompt it.

@Melanie_Balke What industry are you in and what is a typical salary? I imagine being 100% remote makes it more impersonal. It’s possible they already started their other job. If someone is leaving they are likely to not put out 100% effort.

@valentinavee Fx3 for the win? Or if you can afford fx6 is even better. Fx9 is just huge, it is a beast. I think normally the question pros will ask you is what lenses do you own. If you are an EF lens person than than the URSA seems to be the best option.

Finally building a personal office/studio. Took the last couple weeks to think about and design exactly what I wanted. I’m building it in the forest right behind my house.

When I was a kid, Saturday mornings were for playing on the floor with LEGOS. Today, this Saturday morning is for playing with a different kind of material to build something… But I’m still in my slippers. 😂

@clarkcorbin @ClimateAngelSOS Teachers also need a significant raise. Many classrooms are already at capacity. And too many teachers who leave their positions are not being replaced.

@ClimateAngelSOS It will be for graduates of Idaho high schools, or the home school equivalent, starting in 2024 to spend on training at an Idaho based workforce training center, college, university or community college.

@KatieKeithBarn2 I’m new to this. So is Gutenberg the core Wordpress version or engine? It doesn’t sound like a theme. And what is ACF?

I trusted our developer and our website now uses Gutenberg for the homepage for the first time, instead of ACF. I have resisted adding Gutenberg for a very long time... Our Page Speed score is now 90 mobile / 100 desktop, compared to 34/91 before.
