India did the entire world a favour by buying Russian oil because if we had not done so, the global oil prices would have skyrocketed to $200/barrel. Russian oil was never under any sanctions and there was only a price cap, which Indian entities also followed. Let us not forget that while some ill informed commentators talked about putting restrictions on India, many other European and Asian nations bought much more crude oil, diesel, LNG, rare earth minerals worth billions of dollars from Russia. We will continue to buy energy from whoever offers the best rates to our oil companies. That’s the confidence of PM @narendramodi Ji’s leadership. An inaugural program for distribution of 27777 Innovative School Bags with Educational Desk, a patented product by IIT Kanpur was conducted as a part of CSR initiatives of BPCL. The program was held at Government Girls Secondary School, Golghar, Patna Sahib, Bihar. The event was graced by Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, Honorable Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) and Former Union Minister. During the course of the inauguration, Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad expressed his sincere gratitude to Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) for their CSR initiative to make change in Society , benefits of the School Bag with Educational Desk , encouraged students to give due importance to education , instilled a sense of confidence for the challenges of the future. He also stressed on accomplishing the vision in a time bound manner as laid out by the several initiatives spearheaded by the Government of India- New Education Policy. As part of the well-designed comprehensive distribution plan, the school bags were distributed to 325 participating students from Government Girls Secondary School, Golghar, Patna. This program aims to promote among underprivileged children studying in government schools a better study habits, ensure equal opportunities and enhance classroom experience by addressing present infrastructural gaps. It also helps in improvement of children’s Spine and Optical Health Improvement by Correction of Posture by addressing the Misalignment of the Neck or Spine and maintains Optical Health. In its true sense this intervention is being carried out in the light of SDG 2030 (Goal-4) and NEP-2020.
