We’re excited to introduce Inherent, a lab designed from scratch to build AI agents that discover new knowledge. The coming era of machine-driven scientific inquiry demands a new kind of research institution and a new kind of AI. To achieve our mission, we live within the experiment, recursively self-improving the entire research organisation. We investigate questions including: - What does ‘AI taste’ look like in the sciences, and how can we build an institution that embraces this new aesthetic of discovery? - What new kinds of human-machine teaming will make the most of AI that can truly innovate? - How can we build recursive self-improvement at the collective level that continually increases human agency over outcomes? We have just closed a $50m seed round led by @IndexVentures and @radicalvcfund, with participation from other outstanding investors including NVentures (@nvidia's venture capital arm), @buildexante, Metaplanet, Macroscopic, @MythosVentures, Charlie Songhurst, @chalfs, @jluan, @dwarkesh_sp, @Thom_Wolf, @j_foerst and @maxjaderberg. We are advised by @matthewclifford. Inherent is a Public Benefit Corporation headquartered in London.

Improving CPU speed by 10x should not affect training speed essentially at all. The CPU's main job is to kick off the real work on the GPU. If your kernels are sane (fused etc), the time to launch a kernel on the CPU is <<1% of the kernel runtime, even in Python.

Performance:Qwen3.7-Max performs strongly across benchmarks in coding agents , and improves massively in general-purpose agents. Qwen3.7-Max also demonstrates exceptional strength on the hardest reasoning benchmarks, and stands out in general capabilities and multilingualism.

i'm not gonna pretend i'll audit this claim and proof myself but i'm really curious where the "llms can't reason" crowd is Can someone check on them??

bro it isn’t generally intelligent bro its only read every book and paper ever written and just making connections between them bro. its only thinking for twenty hours bro it’s just brute force thinking bro. its only solving erdos problems bro it could never be an accountant bro

SpaceX in IPO filing: "We believe we have identified the largest actionable total addressable market in human history. We estimate that our quantifiable TAM is $28.5 trillion, consisting of $370 billion in Space from space-enabled solutions; $1.6 trillion in Connectivity across $870 billion in Starlink Broadband and $740 billion in Starlink Mobile as well as additional opportunities in enterprise and government; $26.5 trillion in AI across $2.4 trillion in AI infrastructure, $760 billion in consumer subscriptions, $600 billion in digital advertising, and $22.7 trillion in enterprise applications. For illustrative purposes of sizing our addressable market opportunity, we exclude China and Russia from our global estimates."

Today, we share a breakthrough on the planar unit distance problem, a famous open question first posed by Paul Erdős in 1946. For nearly 80 years, mathematicians believed the best possible solutions looked roughly like square grids. An OpenAI model has now disproved that belief, discovering an entirely new family of constructions that performs better. This marks the first time AI has autonomously solved a prominent open problem central to a field of mathematics.
