Respectful Attention @PoliceUg and all Security agencies. Like many Ugandans, I am deeply disappointed by bloggers who continue to violate the rights of minors and victims. I feel compelled to speak out regarding the ongoing coverage of the tragic incident in Matuga involving the death of an 18-year-old. While the suspect remains in police custody awaiting court proceedings, my greatest concern is the irresponsible manner in which this case is being handled publicly. A young girl who is reportedly involved has been openly interviewed on YouTube without concealing her face or voice. Exposing a girl child in such a sensitive and ongoing investigation is not only unethical but also dangerous. It places her at risk of retaliation, public backlash, and further emotional trauma. Minors deserve protection, privacy, and psychological support not public exposure for views and engagement. I urge bloggers and content creators to act responsibly and prioritize the safety and rights of children in their reporting. I also respectfully appeal to the Uganda Police to expedite investigations into this matter and ensure that the culprit is arraigned before court in accordance with the law. I would like to express my gratitude to all the peace-loving, freedom-loving patriots and pan-Africanists who rallied around the world on Wednesday April 30, 2025 to support our commitment and our vision for a new Burkina Faso and a new Africa, free from imperialism and neo-colonialism. Your active solidarity and this demonstration of sympathy strenghtens our conviction that the fight we are waging for a fairer and more equitable world is justified. We will never bend our backs in the face of adversity; we will stand firm until our peoples are truly emancipated. With you, we are certain that victory over the forces of evil is at hand. Together, in solidarity, we will defeat imperialism and neo-colonialism for a free, dignified and sovereign Africa.

MRS. JOLLY SHUBAIHA KATEREGGA has finally released a statement. Read👇
Regarding False Allegations Made by Professor BadruDdungu Kateregga I, Mrs. Jolly Shubaiha Kateregga, wish to address thepersistent false and malicious allegations made against me by my husband, Professor Badru Kateregga, claiming that I assaulted him and intend to take over his property and businesses. Prof. Kateregga and I met in 2010 when I was a young university student at Kampala University, where he was Vice Chancellor. Despite opposition from my family due to our significant age difference, I married him in 2012. I dedicated myself to him and to Kampala University, where I served as Director in charge of Finance, Marketing, and Budget. Under my leadership and effort, the University grew from deep financial strain to a multi-campus institution with branches across Uganda and in the region. Throughout our marriage, I was not only a wife and mother of our three children, but also Prof. Kateregga’s caregiver due to his numerous health complications. I remained committed despite the challenges, including his repeated infidelity, which I raised concerns about due to risks to our health. I never expected that the man I gave my youth to would turn against me in this manner. In September 2024, Prof. Kateregga left our home in Buzigaunder the pretext of staying with his older children. Shortly after, he accused me of attempting to poison him—an accusation later disproven by toxicology reports. He further claimed I physically assaulted him, resulting in wounds that, in truth, were from a surgery to treat blood clots at IHK. Despite these baseless claims, I continued to protect our family and sought legal redress instead of retaliating publicly. After recovering from surgery to treat blood clots, Prof.Kateregga falsely accused me of physical assault, claiming scars from his operation were injuries I inflicted. He lodged a complaint of domestic violence and attempted to have me arrested. However, the Police Criminal Investigations Department (CID) thoroughly investigated the matter and the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) found no criminal case against me, describing it as a family dispute best resolved in court. It is also untrue that I held Prof. Kateregga hostage or cut off his communication. During the period he claims to have been held incommunicado, he was publicly active, attending events, travelling, and giving speeches. We even visited his doctors together shortly before he left our home. The public records and news reports confirm these facts. Following his departure, I have been falsely accused, harassed online, and removed from my position at Kampala University through forged signatures and illegal changes at the Registry of Companies. I reported these acts to the authorities, and the forensic report dated 27th February 2025 confirmed that my signature was indeed forged. Due to these unlawful actions and threats, I engaged Kampala Associated Advocates (KAA) to help me seek justice, including filing for child maintenance in court and taking legal action against those who illegally ousted me from the university. To suggest that I am trying to steal property or harm my husband is not only false but deeply painful. I have endured emotional trauma, public ridicule, threats, and sleepless nights. Our children are distressed and confused by the chaos around them. My only "crime" is being a loyal wife, a mother, and a woman who loved deeply, worked hard, and stood by her family. I leave the rest to God and the courts of justice. I remain committed to seeking justice peacefully through the courts and call upon the media, public, and relevant institutions to consider the truth in this matter before passing judgment. I believe that in time, the truth will prevail and that I will be vindicated. Issued by:
