@venkat_pisipaty@lweld8282828 I think you misunderstood the post. This post is highlighting the fact that she can’t even form a coherent statement, and this is who the Democrats are putting up as their candidate???
This is a blind 'I hate Trump' post or perhaps troll. These people will defend anyone & anything as long as it's not Trump & this is the singular danger the country is in but thankfully this time evidently there are more than enough 'I love Trump' voters who will for starters put the deserving person in the President's office!
@lweld8282828@elonmusk 😂🤦🏻♀️ Um… maybe because she is applying to be the LEADER of the FREE WORLD?! It wasn’t a loaded question at all. It’s just a question you don’t like because it displayed her complete inability to even form a complete thought. The reporter asked her what SHE would do as President.
So she is not an economist! Why is the reporter asking her a loaded question that even Central Bank Chairman would have a hard time tackling? The inflation is where it is because America had to borrow and print dollars to get itself out of a crisis. There is time to pay back the debt but why expect Kamala to ask Americans to tighten up their belts to repay the crazy National Debt when she only has 3 months to convince Americans to vote for her?
@SenMikeLee Thank you, Senator Lee, for your expertise, & the time & effort you take to peel back the layers of these bills to see what’s really going on. I wish more of our elected officials would look beyond the first page, ignore the lobbyists & hecklers, & have the courage to speak up!
The Kids Online Safety Act (“KOSA”) fails to meaningfully address the most urgent threats to America’s children online, while opening the door to political censorship by the federal government.
I cannot support it.
KOSA ignores the grievous damage against children by online pornographers, through both viewing and exploitation. Instead, this legislation empowers the FTC to censor any content it deems to cause “harm,” “anxiety,” or “depression,” in a way that could (and most likely would) be used to censor the expression of political, religious, and other viewpoints disfavored by the FTC.
Furthermore, the current legislative text outsources key clinical, mental-health definitions to the American Psychological Association, an extreme and politically driven organization that supports gender-transition treatment for children and the declassification of pedophilia as a mental-health disorder.
We cannot hope to protect kids when we defer to the very people hurting them.
I am proud to have introduced the SCREEN Act, which would require pornographic websites to adopt real age-verification for visitors, and the PROTECT Act, which would require websites to verify the age and consent of all people featured on such websites, imposing serious consequences for uploading and hosting non-consensual pornographic content.
I offered the SCREEN Act as an amendment to KOSA, but that amendment was blocked from consideration and did not receive a vote.
These bills are necessary to protect children, and have been carefully written with clear, well-defined requirements and penalties. It’s unfortunate that KOSA currently fails to meet the standards our children deserve. And it’s deeply regrettable that my colleagues and I were not permitted to vote on any amendments to achieve those standards during KOSA’s consideration on the Senate floor.
There’s an urgent need for Congress to take real action to protect our children from the threats they face online. If our counterparts in the House of Representatives can amend this bill to address the serious (but very fixable) flaws I’ve identified, and send it back to the Senate, I will enthusiastically vote for an improved version of KOSA in the future.
@FrankAmari2@SenMikeLee One of three who actually read the bill and care about the actual safety of children, and also the extreme likelihood of political censorship. But, whatever.
@frumptucker2@SenMikeLee Ooh, that was a real zinger! You really got him! I’m sure he’ll appreciate your “advice.”
Mike Lee is a brilliant attorney who reads more on his lunch break than you do in a year. Maybe read past the party affiliation next time.
All you know how to do is confirm your own bias.
@SenMikeLee Huh . . . Senator Lee is against legislation to protect kids from online threats. Bold stand, Mike . . . right up there with fighting against common sense gun laws, endorsing an attack on our capitol and shitcanning border security your own party voted for.
@JackGrodeska@SenMikeLee I must have missed that part of the statement. Oh wait, no I didn’t. You just failed Reading Comprehension 101, and aced Deception By Rhetoric 310. Oops! Your hatred is showing!
@PeterGibaldi This is awful. I hope she gets the help she’s looking for, it was pretty clear that something was going on and I don’t hold it against her. Everyone has their struggles and unfortunately this one was on a national stage
@PalaceOfStone@CarilynJohnson But some girls are benefiting. If you have a bloke on your team for example that's an advantage. It's nothing like playing against him. Female cyclists have been OK coming 2nd because of the publicity as they usually get nothing.
STOP telling the high school and college girls “just don’t compete”!
Don’t you understand that the people in charge who are allowing boys to take over girls’ sports - the current administration, the NCAA, the IOC, the school boards, etc., - DO NOT CARE if girls don’t compete! They don’t care if girls participate in sports. In fact, they are actively pushing to get girls out.
Girls refusing to compete has made zero difference and only gives away any progress females have made in sport. Don’t surrender!
Another proud moment for women's sports!
Aayden Gallagher (male) just placed 1st in the Oregon state championship in the women's 200m after placing 2nd in the 400m.
Just listen to the audible BOOS. People are over this...& it's about time.
@SafeSpacePirate@Riley_Gaines_@OSAASports@RWalkerFW they have worked for for 4 years. All because adults refuse to stand up, put on their big kid pants & say NO! We go to great lengths in EVERY OTHER ASPECT of society to protect girls & women, but we just throw open the locker room doors for a boy who says he’s a girl. Shameful!
@SafeSpacePirate@Riley_Gaines_@OSAASports@RWalkerFW Why should HIGH SCHOOL children have to be the ones who stand up & boycott??? It’s our job as parents & adults to protect these girls. By boycotting they lose every opportunity & hope of receiving offers & scholarships. They would literally throw away everything…
@AnastasiaVYogi@PicturesFoIder These are BABIES! Barely two years old, if that. Babies do not understand pranks. You’re just as sick as the psycho in this video!
@PicturesFoIder If some middle school child had some abnormal reaction to a scary mask I 'd be fine whatever. However these are like 4 year olds... what the hell?
@BrianHudson3333@PicturesFoIder She was. There were 5 women charged with felony child abuse. There’s more to the video that shows the other women participating in the terror.
@Upliftingvision@PicturesFoIder I would have to be physically restrained if I was the parent of one of those precious babies. Pure evil! Those little ones will never be the same. The nightmares, terror, & life-changing trauma those babies will endure will be life-long. Those women all deserve prison time.
Monroe County Sheriff Kevin Crook, who is spearheading the criminal investigation, tells TMZ ... 3 sets of parents ran to the County Courthouse to demand felony child abuse charges. They made it clear they thought the behavior was too egregious for misdemeanor charges.
As we reported ... 4 women are each facing 3 counts of felony child abuse over the video showing at least one worker terrifying kids from behind a scary mask.
Crook says child abuse was the only felony charge under state law that seemed to fit the allegations.
A fifth day care worker is facing 2 misdemeanor charges -- failure to report abuse and simple assault -- and the day care owner has reportedly fired all of the employees involved.
Crook says folks in the community alerted cops to the videos by forwarding links, and after viewing the footage ... he assigned an investigator to begin a criminal probe.
It's unclear at this point if any of these same parents intend to file civil lawsuits for infliction of emotional distress ... but it wouldn't be surprising, because it's clear they're pissed.
@HoldOnStil60450@Ghyan0@PicturesFoIder What a ridiculous statement. Do you have some data on that claim? I’m sure there are some people that do it. But to say parents in the US, as if all of us do this, is just asinine. I’m quite certain there are some parents in every country that do it. Why blame it on US parents?
@JoeBiden You’re living in a dream world! Groceries cost four times more than a few years ago! My husband keeps working more hours but we still can’t make ends meet. I’ve never seen this administration take accountability for anything. Joe Biden thinks we’re living our best lives.
Inflation is now lower in America than any other major economy in the world.
We have more to do, but we’re seeing real evidence that American consumers are feeling real confidence in their economy again.
