I remember interviewing for my first cybersecurity job. The job had 500 applicants. I did get a referral so the company called me for an interview. The interview was all red team questions. Coming from a helpdesk/System admin experience. I didn't have experience with Bloodhound, metasploit, golden ticket attacks, silver ticket attacks. My interview didn't go well. A few weeks later, I got called to do a second interview. It turns out that the manager liked my personality. This time I did a bunch of rooms in TryHackMe to prepare for the next interview. The 2nd interview was more personality questions. I was waiting for technical questions. Zero blue team or red team questions lol 😆. That interview went well. I waited 3 weeks and didn't get any emails or calls back. At the end of December, I got job offer. It goes to show you that your personality is important. When my manager hired me. He said he hired me for my personality. I can train you in cybersecurity. All I care about is that you have the willingness to learn. When you delete a file (even using Shift + Delete): The system does not erase the actual data It only removes the file’s reference from the file system The space is marked as available for reuse Until new data overwrites that space, the original file data still exists on the disk.
