@DeanTTraining Switching to machines and lowering sets opened my mind - when I know the barbell won’t kill me, I’ve found I was closer to 4 RIR then 1-2.

The TOP 2 REASONS plenty of people go to the gym consistently for DECADES but don’t make any progress:
1) They don’t train hard — all their “working” sets end @ 3+ RIR
2) Their diet is trash — too many calories/macros out of whack/piss poor food selection

With April close, affter 5,7 years, we finally get a bullish MACD cross and breakouts of all sorts on $COPPER / $GOLD. Economy is expanding, risk-on apetite is rising. This is the last piece missing.

Tracking your calories and macros will teach you more about nutrition in 2 weeks than 2 years of dabbling around wondering why you're not seeing results.
It literally takes less than 5 minutes a day.

We got the 80k push on $BTC. Whether this ends up as a macro LH is yet to be determined. But long term I don't think it's a bad spot with quite a bit of patience. Right now I think it's more important to reclaim a prev level if we want true expansion. For example 84-86k area HTF close for momentum
I'll likely return to crypto when things look better. 3 trades on btc in over half a year and one on HYPE and all went very well. this one I had already exited back when we first hit 76k a month ago tho. Sometimes less is more. Gotta know when to push it and when to sit back.

@DeanTTraining When I did the measurement on BIA, I had like 14%. I thought it was more about 16%, and it was almost 20% on DEXA.

These pics are from a client of mine that clocked in at 9.9% body-fat as measured by DEXA
This is in line with what I’d expect based on his visuals
Gives you a good idea of what ~10% will look like (at least on the Upper Body)

@anymanfitness I found I eat exactly about 700kcal more then what is the plan if I don’t weigh and track my food. Good for maintenance, not for bulking or cutting

Not sure who needs to hear this but I try to aim for 2300-2400 cals per day when losing fat.
I’ve been doing this a long time so I don’t track super closely.
But when I start to stall, I start tracking closely.
Using spoons and cups.
Weighing meats and pastas.
Tracking every sauce and oil.
And wouldn’t you know it. I was actually eating 3k calories.
This happens to everyone. Even the professionals.
Tighten your tracking up. You’ll lose weight faster.

@DeanTTraining My workouts hugely improved when I extended my rests to 3 minutes or sometimes more.

It’s really this simple:
All the people that say they only need 60 seconds, 90 seconds, 120 seconds rest before doing their next set….
….have NEVER done a rep anywhere NEAR this hard in their ENTIRE LIFE
Thus, these people are literally just telling on themselves

I'm sorry but if you are picking the weights back up after 60-90 seconds rest and feeling ready to go for another set, then your training intensity is lacking.
