210 days ago, @naturalpay was just a one-pager and a memo. Today, we’re coming out of stealth. Natural is the agentic payments platform powering frictionless money movement between agents, businesses, and consumers. Wallets. Payments. Ledgering. Routing. Identity. Compliance. Credit. Observability. Risk. Everything needed to move money. Engineered for agents and designed for humans. These primitives give you the ability to transact without becoming a payments expert or stitching together a dozen fragmented tools. Huge thanks to our team of 10 (soon to be 25), our early investors, and the supporters who believed in this vision from the start. If you want to help shape how money moves over the coming decades, we’re hiring. And if you’re building agents you should probably be moving money too. Reach out. Read more about Natural and the products we’re launching in the blog below. natural.co/blog/introduci…

Awesome Something to keep in mind: with the “cell suppression” policy (dropping rows with small claim counts), we lose ~80% of the data, so the actual total $ amount is much higher Working on ways to lower that cell suppression threshold so we can release a larger version of the dataset
Kyle Mack@KyleTMack

HHS just open-sourced the largest Medicaid dataset in history. About $1T in claims data, free for anyone to analyze via @DOGE_HHS. Everyone's looking at what was billed. At @MiddeskHQ, we're looking at who's behind the billing. Here's what we found 🧵

@cjc What did they do about all of the custom fields? Linear doesn’t support custom fields yet, right?

Atlassian once told Oscar Health they had one of the three most complex Jira instances in the world. They eventually hit a literal ceiling: the custom field limit. Moving 600 people to Linear in a highly regulated industry might sound like a year-long migration nightmare, but the Oscar team did it in just one month. Now, leadership has visibility, infra teams aren't buried in chat threads, and their VP of Engineering says, "Everybody here seems happier with Linear."

Oscar Health switched to Linear. 600+ engineers, product managers, and other teams left one of the world’s most complex Jira instances, and migrated in just over a month. Here’s how they switched: linear.app/customers/oscar

Yes, I'm aware that home care agencies do not directly serve clients in those offices. But when you see few-to-no Google Reviews, a parking garage, etc... compare to other medical administrative facilities. It's stupefying.

🧵THREAD: Is Brooklyn, NY a Medicaid fraud hotspot? Brooklyn, NY has a home care billing industry that defies belief. One zip code (11232, Sunset Park) has 30,181 residents and $3.8 BILLION in Medicaid claims. That's $143,000 per man, woman, and child. What's even stranger is that the average income is $90K, the poverty rate is below 20%, and it is one of the younger zip codes in the area. Receipts below.👇 As always, patience as I pull together the thread.

@ParkerThayer Maybe maybe not. I'd like to see a much more interesting DB of anonymized Medicaid pt #, claims count (month) by service locations.

Today the HHS DOGE team open sourced the largest Medicaid dataset in department history. This dataset contains aggregated, provider-level claims data for a specific billing code over time. For example, using this dataset, it would have been possible to easily detect the large-scale autism diagnosis fraud seen in Minnesota. Download the data yourself: opendata.hhs.gov

Parsing PDFs at scale with LLMs is cost prohibitive. Newer models (e.g. gemini 3) are good at reading pdfs, but you burn unnecessary vision tokens even when the page is text heavy. We’ve built in a “cost-optimizer” within LlamaParse that will dynamically route pages to fast/cheap parsing depending on its complexity. Complex pages (e.g. those with tables/charts/diagrams) will still get routed to our VLM-enabled modes. This will let you save anywhere from 50-90% of parsing costs, at much higher accuracy compared to the comparable mode of feeding screenshots into VLMs. Check it out! cloud.llamaindex.ai

@linear Hello... The Linear MCP server does not let agents fetch the UUIDs of milestones for a project. This means the agents cannot add issues to specific milestones, unless given the dict of milestone_name -> milestone_uuid. Also, the agents cannot create new milestones. Ty.
