This brutal act once again reflects the continued oppression and violence faced by the Baloch nation on their own land. We strongly condemn this inhumane incident and demand an immediate transparent investigation into the killings and injuries of innocent civilians.

Pakistani Coast Guards opened fire on civilians in the Kontani area of #Balochistan, killing 8 innocent Baloch civilians and injuring many others. Civilian properties were also burned to the ground. State brutality in Balochistan knows no end.

The death toll in Kontani, #Balochistan has risen to 13 after Pakistani forces opened fire on innocent civilians.

آج کا دن ہر اُس ماں کے نام، جو اپنی ممتا اپنی اولاد پر نچھاور کرتی ہے، اور اُن ماؤں کے نام بھی، جو اپنی اولاد کے غم میں اپنی بینائی، اپنی روشنی، اپنی دنیا کھو بیٹھتی ہیں، چاہے وجہ کچھ بھی ہو۔

جبری گمشدگیوں، ماورائے عدالت قتل اور غیر قانونی ہتھکنڈوں کے خلاف ہم جیل کے اندر بھی دھرنا دیتے رہیں گے۔ آج ڈاکٹر ماہ رنگ بلوچ اور ان کے ساتھیوں کی جیل کے اندر پیشی تھی، تاہم انہوں نے عدالتی کارروائی کا حصہ بننے کے بجائے جیل کے احاطے میں ہی دھرنا دیا۔ اس احتجاج کی بنیادی وجہ یہ تھی کہ بی وائی سی (BYC) کے رہنماؤں کے ساتھ مقدمات میں نامزد دیگر کئی افراد جن میں میٹرک و یونیورسٹی کے طلبہ، مزدور، برسرِ روزگار افراد اور خواتین شامل ہیں بھی ان مقدمات میں نامزد ہیں۔ یہ تمام افراد گزشتہ چھ سے سات ماہ سے باقاعدگی سے عدالتوں میں پیش ہو رہے ہیں، لیکن اس کے باوجود انہیں مسلسل ریاستی جبر کا نشانہ بنایا جا رہا ہے۔ ایسے ہی ایک نوجوان، معراج بلوچ ولد اللہ بخش، جو بی وائی سی کی قید قیادت کے ساتھ کئی مقدمات میں نامزد تھا اور باقاعدگی سے ہر ہفتے عدالت میں پیش ہو رہا تھا، کو 12 اپریل کو کوئٹہ کے گرین پلازہ سے سی ٹی ڈی (CTD) نے جبری گمشدگی کا نشانہ بنایا۔ اس سنگین واقعے پر ڈاکٹر ماہ رنگ بلوچ، بیبرگ شاہ، جی بیبو اور گلزادی نے انسدادِ دہشت گردی کی عدالت (ATC) کے جج محمد علی مبین سے پرزور مطالبہ کیا کہ وہ اس معاملے کا نوٹس لیں اور متعلقہ اداروں کو جوابدہ ٹھہرا کر معراج بلوچ کی باحفاظت بازیابی کو یقینی بنائیں۔ اسی طرح دو دن قبل ایک اور شخص، غفار کیازئی ولد رسول بخش، جو انہی مقدمات میں نامزد تھا اور باقاعدگی سے عدالت میں پیش ہو رہا تھا، کو کرخسہ پکنک پوائنٹ سے ایف سی اہلکاروں نے حراست میں لے کر مبینہ طور پر لاپتہ کر دیا۔ غفار بلوچ کی عمر 50سے 60 سال کے درمیان ہے۔ وہ ایک معذور شخص ہیں، لیکن اپنی اس خستہ حالی کے باوجود ہر پیشی پر باقاعدگی سے حاضر ہوتے رہے ہیں۔ احتجاج کے دوران ڈاکٹر ماہ رنگ بلوچ نے جج محمد علی مبین کو براہِ راست مخاطب کرتے ہوئے دو ٹوک الفاظ میں کہا: “اس وقت ان تمام مقدمات میں نامزد افراد آپ کی تحویل (Custody) میں ہیں اور یہ آپ کی ذمہ داری ہے کہ آپ ان اداروں کو کٹہرے میں لائیں۔ ہم گزشتہ ایک سال سے تمام تر قانونی طریقہ کار پر من و عن عمل کر رہے ہیں یہاں تک کہ ہم نے جیل ٹرائل جیسے غیر معمولی اور کٹھن عمل کو بھی برداشت کیا ہے لیکن اس کے باوجود ہمارے وکلا کو مسلسل ہراساں کیا جا رہا ہے اور ان مقدمات میں نامزد افراد کو جبری طور پر لاپتہ کیا جا رہا ہے۔” انہوں نے واضح کیا کہ اگر کوئی ملزم قانون کا احترام کرتے ہوئے باقاعدگی سے عدالت میں پیش ہو رہا ہو اور اسے پھر بھی جبری طور پر لاپتہ کر دیا جائے، تو یہ محض ایک فرد کے خلاف جبر نہیں بلکہ براہِ راست عدالت کی اتھارٹی اور قانون کی عملداری پر حملہ ہے۔ ڈاکٹر ماہ رنگ بلوچ نے جج سے سوال کیا کہ جب ہمارے ساتھ مقدمات میں نامزد افراد، جو باقاعدگی سے عدالت میں پیش ہو رہے ہیں، کو بھی جبری طور پر لاپتہ کیا جا سکتا ہے تو اس بات کی ضمانت کون دے گا کہ کل ہمیں عدالت یا جیل کے احاطے سے لاپتہ نہیں کیا جائے گا؟ اس احتجاج کے ذریعے درج ذیل بنیادی مطالبات پیش کیے گئے ہیں: 1. معراج بلوچ اور غفار بلوچ کو فی الفور منظرِ عام پر لا کر رہا کیا جائے۔ 2. مقدمات کی پیروی کرنے والے وکلا کو ہراساں کرنے کا سلسلہ فوری طور پر بند کیا جائے۔ #ReleaseBYCLeaders #EndEnforcedDissapearences

Today, on International Women’s Day, women around the world speak about rights, equality, and freedom. For Baloch women, these words are not slogans. They are the language of survival. For decades, Baloch women were expected to remain inside their homes. But when fathers, brothers, sons and husbands began to disappear, silence became impossible. Mothers started knocking on the doors of police stations and courts. Sisters carried photographs of the missing through streets and highways. Daughters grew up in protest camps instead of playgrounds. From Quetta to Karachi and Islamabad, Baloch women have marched, protested and sat for days and nights demanding one simple answer: where are our loved ones? Today many of those same women are themselves behind bars. Some face fabricated cases. Others are dragged through police stations and courts. Some are imprisoned simply for asking where their missing family members are. But even prison has not silenced them. The story of Baloch women is a story of pain that refuses to disappear. Every protest camp, every photograph held in trembling hands, every mother waiting by the door at night carries the same question. Where are our loved ones? On this International Women’s Day, we remember the courage of Baloch mothers, sisters and daughters who refused to disappear with their loved ones. Their struggle is not only the struggle of the Baloch nation. It is the struggle of every woman who refuses to accept injustice in silence.

Just heard the news of brutal murder of a former classmate. Killings are a normal occurrence in Balochistan. More than 30 people killed during Ramadan. The continuing violence against Baloch is nothing less than an ethnic cleansing. STOP OUR GENOCIDE !!
