NYT opinion columnist Jamelle Bouie just claimed that “‘gender surgery for minors’ isn’t a thing.” Researchers have conservatively estimated that about 1,000 minors underwent gender-transition mastectomies annually in recent years. A woman just won $2M in a lawsuit against her Westchester care providers for the mastectomy she received at age 16. I was the only reporter to attend all three weeks of the trial. What happened to the plaintiff when she was a minor was real. I would like to see Bouie’s “direct evidence” that such surgeries never happen. I will post my citations in the thread.
