My AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification study course is packaged. All I have to do is upload it to freeCodeCamp when I get a moment.

I am predictably triggered by this 1 billion loops benchmark thing. If you vectorize the Python, it's ~10x faster than Rust, C, etc. With less code! The point here is _not_ that Python itself is fast. It's not! The point is that Python makes this accessible, and even the norm!

@Jack_Raines Interesting experience on tech - most of the data engineering people I followed here have moved there. What I get here now are mostly companies and the discourse around their posts.

Threads never felt like it clicked. No conversations, just Instagram in text form. BlueSky feels more like a conversation. We’ll see if it sticks.

Initial take on Bl*eSky: Much stronger media/journalism presence. Very strong FinTwit presence (like circa 2019). Tech circle definitely isn’t there yet. Much better for sharing articles, blogs, research, podcasts, etc. Team seems committed to supporting distribution.

Clever people of the interwebs, is there a way to have something like a discord account and when you push out a message, it posts to all social media feeds? I think it’s too time intensive to run multiple social media’s….just a thought if anyone looking to do the same… etc
