Dear women of Delhi I took an @Uber_India from Vasant Vihar to sarvodaya enclave to the doc. The pin stopped near Essex farms, driver agreed to drop me minus pin. But began getting irritated and yelling and suddenly turned while i asked him to go straight for a u turn. Asked him to stop and he refused. I opened the cab door to make him stop. He turned around, grabbed my arm and twisted it. Called 100 but no response. Called uber safety and was asked to call 100. Also Sanjana said will involve entire team to assess action. Outrageous. @DelhiPolice how do women contact you when in need? PS- Driver didn’t take payment. @gupta_rekha @Uber_Support

11:26 AM - Sunday - Air Pollution Over the last 6 days 34 of our lung patients, adults, from ILD , COPD , and lung cancer 27 kids - chronic asthma Have been forced to relocate out of Delhi because of pollution … 19 of my arthritis patients have reported a massive increase in arthritic pain, yes there is a direct correlation between air pollution and arthritis pain …. In Mumbai , a lung specialist doctor has had to relocate his wife who is our patient for ILD to Lonavala because of her deterioration with the increase in air pollution …. Over the last 6 days , people who had stopped their allergy meds for pollution, from end march last year till beginning October this year are all back on it , ME included :-) This year, sick and tired of tweeting and urging government officials to help ,,,i don’t even know if they can ,,,,, as of this moment, i am dedicating time to figure out how to enforce my rights as an Indian citizen for my right to clean air, water and food …. I know many will say , it’s useless Luke, dont waste your time , nothing will change, but i want to believe and I’m going to try …. I want to appeal for social justice and our rights to clean air, food and water …… I feel useless in my field of lifestyle medicine ,,,,diets, exercise, sleep, emotional wellness, is almost useless when the air we breathe is poisoning us slowly and surely ……. there are new borns every day, senior citizens, all of us who need clean air , animals and pets too, we need this for LIFE and HEALTH …….. even if this takes my lifetime to appeal and chase, i do believe it can make an impact for the future generation ….

@bryan_johnson Been working on this issue for many years in Delhi…obviously not doing a great job! Started BreatheEasyLabs.com to help others breathe clean air in India. Biggest challenge is awareness. Helped design the air quality in this and many other hotels, malls, schools, homes etc.

@MGSupportIndia The key issue is poor quality parts that have worn off in 1 year. Nobody seems to care at MG & just blame driving style & say ware and tear! Rs82k estimate now at Rs52k. Is it a joke?

@majnirvikar National emergency! Will take at least 10 yrs to fix problem - as long as govt takes right approach - fix problems at source & NOT waste public money on solutions like smog towers. MUCH cheaper & more effective to fix polution at source than try and remove it after it is created
