@coinbaseDev has two hackathons coming up (Code NYC and sponsoring EthGlobal NYC), here are some things I'd love to see built: Financially autonomous agent – Give an agent the ability to access the discovery layer, post on social platforms, and post bounties. See what it does when it becomes financially independent and no longer reliant on a developer for doing tool integrations. Bonus points for allowing the agent to self-improve. AI code review agent – Get a Claude Code instance (or something similar) that can be invoked for a set price to look over your codebase, fix bugs, or do a PR review. Bring AI out of the traditional subscription or API key-required model. Universal Paywall SDK – JavaScript drop-in that adds x402 micropayments to any website in as little lines of code as possible. Ideally compatible across frameworks and architectures. Wrap existing endpoints – Take existing endpoints that aren’t yet x402-compatible and wrap them to make them so. Create a proof of concept of what becomes possible using these endpoints when you can have agents pay as they go for access. Endpoints we’re most excited about: Browser/Computer Use GPU Compute Data storage/retrieval Monetized miniapps – Use x402 and the endpoints to give human users the ability to interact with services that would otherwise require a friction-filled signup process. See remixme xyz for an example. AI Agent in TBA – Use x402 and TBA to create an agent that can pay for services via x402 and expose them to the end user. Agentic Commerce – Use x402 to purchase goods online, possibly through AEON or Crossmint’s integrations. Telegram bots using x402 – Create experiences that use telegram bots as a distribution mechanism and x402 for monetization. Bonus points if you build something that can be distributed through telegram, MCP, and any other distribution pathways Payment splitting – create mechanisms for sharing payments between creators and publishers, agents and tools, and any other split you find relevant or useful. could use @0xSplits Swarm Task Router – Break complex jobs into microtasks that any agent can claim and complete for x402 bounties. Improvements to the x402 spec – work with our engineers to build out improvements to the spec, including arbitrary tokens, more networks, or new payment schemes

This is the first time since early 2023 that a chain has had more tokens launched on it than Solana
