I have instructed the relevant authorities that Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin Patriarch, be granted full and immediate access to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. Over the past several days, Iran has repeatedly targeted the holy sites of all three monotheistic religions in Jerusalem with ballistic missiles. In one strike, missile fragments crashed meters from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. To protect worshippers, Israel asked members of all faiths to temporarily abstain from worshipping at the Christian, Muslim and Jewish holy sites in Jerusalem’s Old City. Today, out of special concern for his safety, Cardinal Pizzaballa was asked to refrain from holding mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Even though I understand this concern, as soon as I learned about the incident with Cardinal Pizzaballa, I instructed the authorities to enable the Patriarch to hold services as he wishes.

I am legitimately convinced these people are retarded. Since the war with Iran began, all large public gatherings have been banned due to the threat of missiles and drones. Banning large gatherings during this type of war is standard practice not just in Israel; Ukraine has banned gatherings since February 2022, when Russia invaded. Likewise, the Arab Gulf states, who participate in the Israeli-American coalition against Iran, banned them as well. Imagine a missile or a drone hitting the crowd or panic starting due to the sirens, creating a stampede. Those would be events with hundreds of casualties. But of course, some people are habitual whiners who wish to pretend like they're victims of Jewish oppression.

It’s unfortunate that Cardinal Pizzaballa was blocked from going to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and I hope they can find a resolution to this, but if your statement of condemnation doesn’t mention the rocket fire, you’re not telling the whole story.

NEW: CNN photojournalist put in a chokehold by Israeli soldiers before the entire CNN crew was detained in the West Bank. CNN says the crew was detained for two hours. The Israeli military has released the following statement to CNN: “The actions and behavior of the soldiers in the incident are incompatible with what is expected of IDF (Israel Defense Forces) soldiers operating in the Judea and Samaria area.” They also noted that the incident would be “thoroughly reviewed.” Source: @JDiamond1
