@keenvillain @Doomskander @AcharaStudios 4 was in fact, an okay game no matter how much you want to shit on it. The writing is pretty lazy and it lacks depth but the gunplay and gameplay loop Bethesda created is fun. They just blew it all away when 76 came around.

@Horgler @AcharaStudios That’s gonna be my main gripe because I didn’t know he was tying it together, I thought like many others the canon of the game and the show were going to be separate.

@bassturbaitor @AcharaStudios A lot of it could be ignored if the show were just some inconsequential adaptation, but Todd specifically went out of his way to declare it as canon, not to mention that it’s supposedly going to be important to Fallout 5 somehow.

In many ways, I agree. I do enjoy Bethesda fallout but after reading your other replies I don’t like that Todd is making the show canon and linked to 5. 4 had lazy writing and 76 is even worse but 3 and NV I enjoyed for what they were, I also feel they still retained some of those darker themes from the originals before it all got canned. Other than the show being made canon, I think it’s a fun show for a certain audience but I went into it knowing it wouldn’t explore any of the darker sides Fallout has. This is an issue with TES as well.

I went backwards beginning with NV as a teenager, late 20s now so I’d say I’ve been a fan for roughly 15 years. Went from NV to 3 then I went back and played the originals which imo, had much better writing even if I preferred the gameplay of the later games. 4 was okay, 76 dogshit.

scrolling through twitter i am seeing QTs of my tweet and it appears i have triggered a lot of men who cannot handle a woman as a defense attorney. they cannot handle that i'm proud to have saved a life. they can't handle that i morally don't believe in the death penalty (i also believe it violates the 8th amendment). they don't believe in the 6th amendment's right to counsel. they're actively wishing me dead for doing my job and calling me a whore because of my job (weirdest part). if you believe in the death penalty, that's fine. many do. but the irony of wishing me dead to say that murder is wrong and thus the death penalty is good is very puzzling.

It’s my opinion you deserve this kind of death for r*ing and killing a 93 year old woman.
