@SimonFrost3 @PipersAsh @implausibleblog @Anna_Soubry @Sandbach @DominicGrieve1 Self-respect isn’t a required trait any more. You just have to front up to the cameras each morning with the ‘script of the day’. Journo’s partly to blame, as they fire such a broad range of questions at them that they need a script to answer, which just erodes accountability.

@PipersAsh @implausibleblog @Anna_Soubry @Sandbach @DominicGrieve1 Imagine knowingly being retained because you’re known as a ‘yes man’. Where’s the self-respect?

HK, "Did you lose confidence in those senior advisers Mr Johnson and effectively dispose of them both?"
BJ, "It was a very difficult and challenging period. People were getting frazzled. They were frustrated. When people are critical of the guy at the top thats a reflection of the circumstances. People's tone changed. It was a reflection of the agony that the country was going through" #CovidInquiry

@Dtrain1776 @JDMitcham @4golfonline Not really, it’s another marketing tactic. Make a PW the same loft as a 9i used to be and you’ve created the need for another wedge.

Hey golfers! Are new golf clubs becoming too expensive?
As technology advances, the cost of the latest clubs seems to be steadily rising. Do you think this pricing trend is reasonable, or are manufacturers pushing the limits? Are these high prices justified by the performance improvements, or do you feel that they're simply out of reach for many players?
Share your thoughts on whether the cost of new golf clubs is getting out of hand, and let's discuss whether this trend is sustainable for the future of the sport.
Let’s hear y’all.

@fesshole Kids are dicks. All the guilt and unadulterated rage balances out in the long run.

@WSTSIDER @CreepyOrg If by “died shortly after” you mean she’s 64 and very much alive, then you would be correct.
English

@CreepyOrg The only movie that still scares me to this day is this one. The exorcist the 1st one from 1973 because this is based on a true story and the female actor that played that girl in that movie died shortly after.

@DoveUK This is really good to know, especially as I already take soft plastics to store for recycling. Perhaps change the “Do not recycle” message on the pouch to “Recycle in store” as I’m sure there are more like myself happy to do so 👍
English

@bazzason Hi @bazzason, our refill pouches are made using a soft plastic which can be taken to in-store collection points.
We recommend checking your local stores or use the Recycle Now Recycling Locator to find your nearest soft plastic recycling point: recyclenow.com/recycling-loca…. 1/2
English

@DoveUK
Love that you produce Eco Refills to cut down on single use plastics. How about you make the packaging recyclable too? It’s just going to landfill, whereas the plastic bottle it “replaces” can be recycled at the end of its life.

English

@DoveUK The FPF is a great idea, supported by some big hitters in the recycling industry, but currently only six local authorities are signed up. So until there is a significant increase in participation, it’s kind of irrelevant to the majority of your customers.
English

@bazzason We are also working to make it easier for people to recycle our pouches, which is why our parent company, Unilever, is a member of the Flexible Plastic Fund. You can find out more here: flexibleplasticfund.org.uk/flexcollect. 2/2

@mrjamesob
We bemoan the US for their approach to gun laws, yet change the word “gun” with “dog” and we are just as blinkered. We talk about the person at the other end of the lead, we say that regulated ownership solves the problem. We are lying to ourselves.

@manslaper @SusieH58 @AndyGJBurge Only illegal once they have been refused the right to stay, but you know that. If only there was a way to process them before they made the journey, like maybe a processing centre in Calais? A Government really wanting to “stop the boats” wouldn’t object to that, would they?
English

@SusieH58 @AndyGJBurge . Yes, just send them back now and process later. That way they can work in their own country.
And yes they are illegal unless they get the right to stsy.
English

Get this everyone - it's simple.
People who land in this country and apply for asylum seeker or refugee status with the UK border force should be allowed to work. It is simply crazy that they are not able to. If, while waiting for their Home Office decision, they were allowed to work, they would:
* be trackable - because of employment and tax details
* be able to pay for their own accommodation and food
* be able to contribute to the economy via tax and NI
* be given some human dignity
Anyone opposing this policy is either a xenophobe, an islamophobe, a racist or an idiot and quite probably a combination of all four. #ToryRacists

@JoelGoddard2000 @itz_literally @Otto_English The comparable would be if he wanted £100 for his TV and you offered him £100 worth of potatoes. You are still offering what it’s worth but not in a form he is happy to accept.

This is the cashless Aldi in Greenwich.
There's a Sainsburys local clearly visible in the car park behind and others in area thar take cash
Piers Corbyn has thus crossed London to inconvenience and embarrassed low paid workers for clicks.

Piers Corbyn pays with cash at a cashless Aldi, this is how you defeat the globalists…🔥

@jondbm Or that the criteria for eligibility is so narrow that only a small proportion of the available money will ever be claimed? It’s easy to offer up a big number if you know you won’t ever have to pay it.
