I made my wedding dress in three weeks and I'm questioning everything because people keep asking if I'm "sure" about wearing something homemade to my own wedding. I only started crocheting 10 months ago, so this was definitely jumping into the deep end. But when I saw the $3,000 price tags at bridal shops, I knew I had to try something different. The crochet community on Tedooo where I sell my beginner projects was so encouraging, sharing advanced patterns and cheering me on through every frustrating frogged row. My hands are still cramping, but wearing something I created myself feels more meaningful than any designer label ever could. Now I'm two days away from walking down the aisle and everyone has opinions. My future mother-in-law keeps suggesting we "find something more traditional as backup," my sister thinks I should at least get it professionally pressed (it's crochet!), and even my fiancé asked if I'm "absolutely certain" about this choice. Part of me wonders if they're right - am I being stubborn or brave? Will I look back at photos and regret not buying something "proper"? But another part of me thinks this dress tells our story better than any store-bought gown ever could. What would you do? Wear the dress you made with your own hands, or play it safe with something everyone expects?

Sometimes people can’t tell if Democrats are outright lying or if they actually believe this stuff… So let me drop in a photo of Mark Kelly’s crew on the STS-134 space mission. 6 White guys. Majority pilots. Mission was a success. So yeah, he knows what he’s saying is bullshit.
