I get fed up hearing people lament, "Why dont we have a leader like Jacinda Ardern?" They're blindly ignorant to the fact that we already had one in @JuliaGillard but the patriarchal overlords led by Abbott, Murdoch and their minions thought then knew better. Miss you Ms G.

Jim Chalmers’ addiction to spending is forcing interest rates to their highest level and he’s taxing you more to pay for it. Tell us your story at notthetax.com.au

Absolutely staggering. @SharriMarkson reports that @sneako was granted a visa, while Israelis including former Minister @Ayelet__Shaked was previously denied entry. The contrast is clear: a vile antisemite admitted, while Israeli figures refused. This standard is indefensible.

#BREAKING Speculation has erupted that a death tax of up to 27 per cent will be included in the budget by Jim Chalmers. Which means the money that you worked hard for, has already been taxed and sitting in your bank account will be taxed again in the event of your death. And not just a small tax. A 27 per cent tax on the inheritance you pass onto your children. This week, Yahoo Finance! confirmed claims that there’s a 27 per cent death tax on the agenda. This comes on top of Albanese considering a “spare bedroom” tax. Where he will tax you for every spare bedroom you have, in order to sure up housing for the record 3,500 people a day he is currently importing into this country.

During earlier generations the tradie and the butcher earned similar wages. When the tradie built a house it was affordable for the butcher . In Victoria at present 43 percent of the cost of building a new home is government taxes. So an $ 800 thousand 4 bedroom new home would really only cost you 470 thousand if you removed government taxes.
kjsnioctib@kjsnioctib

@tonytardio Earlier generations bought their house for 2x their annual salary. Explain how the average person works to pay for a $1-2 million dollar house.

111 years after the first Gallipoli landing by Australian Diggers, they would now be turning in their graves that this weasel of a man in spectacles is speaking on behalf of them. Anthony Albanese is a national disgrace.

I don’t believe the Diggers who fought and died for Australia need to be “Welcomed to Country.” These men gave everything for this nation on foreign battlefields. There’s a time and a place for Welcome to Country ceremonies but honouring our fallen servicemen isn’t one of them.

You cannot "Welcome to Country" men and women who have already paid the ultimate sacrifice, as if they are foreigners in the very land they defended. You cannot claim diversity is our strength while paying lip service to a performative ritual whose very words exclude everyone else as outsiders to that country. You cannot claim indigenous history is to be revered while promoting the erasure of Australian history by denying its rightful recognition. Australia is a land of many unnecessary contradictions. The longer this continues and society remains fractured, the faster others, far removed from any care for either side, will take advantage for their own ends.

Sadly, @AustralianLabor will never fix the fraud and corruption in the NDIS, because it is their supporters profiting from NDIS fraud and corruption. This is the economy Labor built, and it is for them, not you. Always remember: Labor governs for Labor, not Australians.

The Prime Minister's begging tour around Asia shows just how exposed we are to any disruption in global fuel supply. This is actually our second wake-up call about over-reliance on global supply chains and we can't afford to go back to sleep once more, as we did after the first. The Prime Minister's 'fuel diplomacy coup' in securing two extra deliveries, each of 100 million litres, sounded impressive but actually constituted less than two days' total Australian consumption. What's more, it bordered on deranged for the government to insist that further electrification was the long-term solution to the fuel crisis, even while the PM was pleading for extra petrol and diesel. Immediate crisis averted, the PM will insist that nothing really needs to change, even though almost everything does. Read my latest at The Tony Abbott Newsletter: tonyabbott.au/p/7eb4e88b-27f…

Fuel security starts with getting more Australian oil and gas out of the ground. We need to dig and drill. At a time of crisis, the last thing Australia needs is a tax that will stop more coming out of the ground.

@DrewPavlou Sorry, looking for your service history. When did you serve in the ADF? Are you suggesting the evidence of 21 serving and veteran SAS members who gave evidence in the BRS defo trial are not to be believed? What point are you making?

BREAKING: Court documents reveal that Australian government war crimes investigators do not even have the NAMES of two individuals Ben Roberts-Smith is alleged to have killed in Afghanistan almost 20 years ago. Nobody has managed to identify these alleged victims - even after $300 million was spent on war crimes investigations over five years. Australian Office of Special Investigations director Ross Barnett already revealed that investigators have: - No crime scenes - No access to the deceased - No bodies - No post-mortem report - No official cause of death - No recovery of projectiles to link to weapons that might have been carried by members of the ADF - No photographs - No site plans - No measurements - No recovery of projectiles - No blood spatter Now we know that after nearly $300 million and 5 years of investigation, they do not even have the NAMES of two alleged victims. If there is no name, no identification, no body - how do we even know they were killed? Does anybody actually think this is fair? Does anybody actually think that a criminal conviction - proved to a criminal standard, beyond reasonable doubt - is remotely possible in these circumstances? Daily Mail: ''Two of the five men Ben Roberts-Smith is accused of murdering while serving with the Special Air Service in Afghanistan have never been identified by war crimes investigators. Court documents seen by the Daily Mail show one of the Victoria Cross recipient's alleged victims is described only as 'Person Under Control 1', or alternatively 'Enemy Killed in Action 3'.''

I support this man 100% if you don’t support this man you can fuck off and de friend me. This country is fucked. The government is fucked and the ADF is fucked. You don’t get to decide his fate when you send him and our children into a war zone where they use civilians, children as walking bombs to kill our troops. The money the government has spent over almost a decade $300 million plus to send one of our own to prison for life is disgusting, vile and putrid. It’s an attack on masculinity. It’s an attack on our military past and present. You hesitate in a war because you’re afraid of what might happen to you when you get back home could be the end of your life, the soldier next to you! The whole fuckin Battalion. Albanese you weak peace of shit. One Nation for Australia.
