Literally the voice of tens of millions of people in Britain.

@Zokko18 @CroneThe86880 @MercerCait The Government *does* get involved in some prosecution decisions. The Attorney General, Lord Hermer, signed off on Lucy Connelly’s prosecution.

Imagine being so consumed by arrogance, so morally inverted, so breathtakingly ignorant that you look at a verbatim play documenting the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust—and decide to cancel it. Not quietly. Not shamefully. But during the very week the civilized world falls silent to honor six million Jewish men, women, and children who were hunted, starved, and gassed into oblivion by the Nazis. You don’t have to imagine it. Ireland’s National Concert Hall—bankrolled by the Irish taxpayer, draped in the language of culture and public service, supposedly a house belonging to the Irish people—did exactly that. With breathtaking coldness. With institutional cowardice dressed up as policy they looked Holocaust Remembrance Week in the eye and chose censorship anyway. @NCH_Music
